Something's totally off about the number of data centers being built (over 3,000 right now) and the sheer size and compute power they represent. They are massively OVER-building capacity that can't possibly be met by customer demand for compute. And customer revenues can't possibly recover the financial investment needed on these projects. There's clearly some other plan afoot, and I don't yet know what it is. It involves massive compute, but not merely to serve inference or hosting databases and corporate data. There's a much larger plan at work here.

So far Hermes agent is more fluid than openclaw. Way less autism, generally speaking

3 weeks ago i decided to setup an Hermes agent for my family (3 members) they all use it for different use cases, one $200 ChatGPT sub is more than enough it unlocked a whole new world for them, just because it lives inside whatsapp and has *magic* proactive behaviors

It will catalyze a scramble to solve the Kessler Syndrome and any treaties regarding space will be thrown out the window. The budget for the Space Force might exceed that of the Navy within our lifetimes.

The fact that Japanese tourists are just as starry-eyed about American diners, national parks, and suburban Christmas lights as we are about sushi, cherry blossoms and civility. I love that we both romanticize each other.

It’s so endearing to me that in 80 years—one lifetime—Japanese people have not only forgiven us, but are now the culture with the utmost affinity for Americans, and vice versa. Everyone I know has Japan at the top of their bucket list. To learn it might be the same in reverse is so so cool.
