"I can't train fasted. I don't have the energy." You have: - Yesterday's ribeye, still being slowly disassembled in the small intestine - Roughly 2,400 calories of glycogen, sitting in your muscles and liver, waiting to be asked - Somewhere north of 100,000 calories of stored fat, strapped to your body for exactly this scenario There is plenty to go around. The fuel is already in the building. The fuel has been in the building since you were a teenager. The body just needs you to stop eating long enough that it remembers where it put everything.

@StefanMolyneux The way it’s worded obviously makes no sense. There are people in comas who can’t push a button, so saying that everyone has to push it is an impossibility.

I’m sorry you don’t understand the word “everyone.” Maybe grab a dictionary before debating in English
zamatustra@zamatustra

@StefanMolyneux implying babies, autistic people etc breaks the thought experiment. it wasnt about helping actual victims. it was about people that put themselves in danger. it was about individual vs collective responsibility. Let's consider only people that fully unserstand the implications.

@BGCryderman @JEverettLearned @OscarPatel Interesting, I’m not super knowledgeable on all this stuff. If it truly does work it would be good as I’d like my lower jaw to protrude a bit more. Nothing dramatic maybe another 5mm.

@CheckmateSoon @JEverettLearned @OscarPatel Pulling can make more space but that space is prone to revert if you aren't practising proper tongue posture, thumb pulling works to stretch your mouth open but you must combine it with mewing in order to retain the shape.

@JEverettLearned @BGCryderman @OscarPatel I tried thumb pulling for a few days and it seemed to actually make some difference judging by the space between my front and lower teeth which are usually touching. After not doing it for a couple days things seemed to have reverted back. Still unsure if it’s bullshit or not.

@MikolajKonopka @HazelAppleyard Nah you’d almost definitely fuck up your shoulders, wrists, back, or elbows before even doing a year of doing 500/day

@CheckmateSoon @HazelAppleyard Lol guarantee I would make more than 1 mil in first year and then still have ability to make money while ur stuck with just a million. 500 pushups per day practically 2 mill is so easy

@EmmitDocBrown @iboprof @DeanTTraining I’m gonna stick to isolation movements til I can get the muscles stronger for compound lifts. I stopped doing them a week ago & my knees already feel so much better. My leg extension & leg curls are honestly pretty weak for my size since I’ve been dealing with so much knee pain.

@CheckmateSoon @iboprof @DeanTTraining Yea could be you’re just pushing too much weight. Just because you can do it doesn’t mean you should especially if there’s pain. Mobility work sucks but it’s imperative. Try split squats. All I know is my knee pain is basically down to weak surrounding muscles that I didn’t train

@EmmitDocBrown @iboprof @DeanTTraining I’m only 5’9 so not tall. I may have weak quad and glutes but my ankle flexibility is very good already. Would you suggest working on isolating my quads, glutes, and external rotation first before focusing on leg press?

@CheckmateSoon @iboprof @DeanTTraining If you’re tall you need feet wider slightly pouting out. Also knee pain here originates from weak quads weak glutes. Work on external hip and ankle flexibility as well, TRUST ME I tired everything but listening to others telling me this for 25 years. Knee pain is compensation.

@DeanTTraining This is 5’9 150lbs. I think I’m around 13% body fat if I had to guess. Goal weight is 160 lbs 10% body fat.

@DeanTTraining I’m 5’9 and 150 lbs and I’m pretty lean. Probably around 12-13% body fat. I feel like I need to be 160 lbs at least to look muscular.

@iboprof @DeanTTraining I got plica syndrome and had to have knee surgery to get my plica removed after doing squats 10 years ago. Lately I’ve been doing isolation movements like extensions and leg curls, leg abduction and adduction, hip thrusts, etc.

@iboprof @DeanTTraining The problem is I get knee pain the next day even if I can tolerate minor pain in the moment. Not worth it to be in pain when I get decent results doing half reps. At a certain point it becomes more about listening to your body than pleasing everyone else.

@CheckmateSoon @DeanTTraining Try different foot placements on the platform. One of them should click just right. Everyone has slightly different ligament/joint morphology. One specific placement that's good for someone might not necessarily work for the other.
