Can anyone here explain to folks why Miami, Austin, and Nashville are not culturally considered the Deep South—but Jacksonville, Houston, and Memphis are? I know how I would explain this but just interested to see other explanations.

@CodingWCulture They can WAIT to be prepared for the world in the way that YOU want them to be. They won't be prepared for ANYTHING if they can't use their brains meaningfully in later life because of what they were subjected to as children.

@CodingWCulture Dude, it's not whether it's used correctly or overused or not, the BIOLOGIC FUNCTIONING of the brain and how it forms pathways is being DESTROYED in kids who use screens no matter WHAT the timeframe. The younger they are, the worse the damage.

@CodingWCulture Hey coach, you do know that ipads, laptops and phones have been proven to be a detriment to children's learning, whether it's learning based content or not. It's why currently there's a shift back to traditional learning methodology in many schools and districts.

Let's knock it off with the all-or-nothing hot takes. Good teachers utilize tech ONLY when it gets them the results they want. Foolish teachers (and schools) use tech as their blanket strategy. And tweets like this are rage bait. Don't advocate for bans that take tools out of the hands of teachers and students. Advocate for more responsible instructional decisions based on pedagogy and best practice.
