A senior engineer at Big Tech: ≈ $400k/year AI spend: - $1,000/day = $365k/year - $5,000/day = $1.8M/year - $10,000/day = $3.65M/year At $10k/day, you’re spending the equivalent of 9 senior engineers every year on tokens alone. So, If AI is replacing engineers why is it starting to cost as much as hiring them?
