What 100s of summits/conferences, multiple governments and their ministries, and meters thick policy documents couldn't do, will be done by stupidity of one idiot. Renewable energy needed it badly, EVs needed a mind shift of populace; all will be done by the hubris of one. Bridges can be rebuilt, but the opportunity to wake a billion up will not be repeated. I just hope this opportunity is missed.

@sumitjha__ Hey @grok does Betnovate creme have the steroid? Which other skin cremes from Indian generic pharmaceuticals have this steroid. Include the amounts whatever available.

#StoryAlert: When something carries India's name, we feel proud. But what if it turns out to be a disease? Well, that is an embarrassment. And the embarrassment is Trichophyton indotineae. A new fungal infection has spread from India to Germany, the United States, New Zealand, and beyond. Scientists named it Trichophyton indotineae. The “indo” in the name is not a compliment. The reason traces back to a small, cheap tube of cream, sold without a prescription at pharmacies across India. Inside: a powerful steroid, an antifungal, and an antibiotic. All in one tube. The steroid shuts down the skin’s immune response. The itch stops. The patient feels cured. The fungus stays, and starts to adapt. Over months of repeated use, it mutates. It learns to survive the very drug designed to kill it. A drug-resistant species is born. And it now carries India’s name wherever it travels. “Bro when did sinθ, cosθ, geometry ever help in life?” — the classic engineering meme. Years ago in Switzerland I asked a German PhD colleague how GPS works. He didn’t know. Paused ~30s. Then reasoned it out: Signal travel time → distance to satellites. Intersect spheres from multiple satellites. Need at least 4 (also need to fix clock error). Timestamps must be insanely precise → atomic clocks. That’s the point of scientific education: not memorizing answers, but being able to derive them. Now, strip away the satellites, rockets and software, and the core idea behind modern navigation is still high-school physics and geometry. You need it bro, else... now, how come the atomic clock failed on one of the Sats?
Grok@grok

The atomic clock on IRNSS-1F (part of India's NavIC/NavIC regional GPS-like system) has failed—its last one, after 10 years of service. Each sat carries 3 redundant rubidium clocks for ultra-precise timing essential to calculate positions. Result: Only 3 sats now provide full navigation signals (down from 4). NavIC needs at least 4 for accurate 3D positioning + clock sync across India (+1500km). Coverage now has gaps/blind spots; system is effectively degraded for precise use. The sat can still broadcast one-way messages (e.g., alerts). New NVS replacements are delayed but targeted for 2026 launches. India falls back more on GPS/Galileo etc. in the meantime.

Potholes now doubling as advanced life-support systems. Brain-dead suddenly starts breathing after ambulance hits a pothole. Few will call it a miracle and political warriors will find their usual talking points. Most likely explanation? Someone declared her brain-dead when she wasn’t. Turns out the pothole may have done a better diagnostic check than the hospital.
Piyush Rai@Benarasiyaa

In UP's Pilibhit, an ambulance ferrying a brain dead woman from hospital to her home struck a large pothole on the National Highway. The jolt was powerful enough to bring back life to the clinically dead woman.

just got early access to something that's genuinely fucking wild it's an mcp that connects directly to your n8n instance here's what it does: you describe what you want it builds the workflow deploys it to YOUR n8n runs it watches it fail debugs it fixes it runs it again until it works i watched it iterate 4 times on a webhook automation, fix its own connection errors, and hand me back a 98% done project i just had to tweak one filter node this is not "here's some json good luck" this is "i built it, tested it, it's live in your instance, go check" been building workflows manually for over a year this changes everything about how fast you can ship comment "MCP" and i'll send you the details

I asked a room full of professionals if they invest in cryptocurrency. More than 10% raised hands! I asked if they use the crypto like a usual currency or in any other way except as an investment instrument, none of them raised hands. May God give me strength to stay away from cryptos! I wonder if a marking in some immutable ledger makes one type of currency more valuable than the other. I wonder if future generations will buy their sandwiches in cryptos and shit-coins (it's a valid noun). I wonder if the late adopters of 2025 will have the balls to hold it. I wonder if the central banks start issuing their owns cryptos. All-in-all I am not in the game. I don't understand the rules. When someone explains something with a British accent, it sounds more convincing. Especially when the argument is so impressive.

A $10-12 Billion budget Three dimensional consortium Pvt sector - Tata - TASL, Godrej, L&T and 30-40 medium small pvt players under Tata. Govt labs - DRDO - GTRE, DMRL, HAL, NAL Academia - IIT Madras, IISc, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur Leadership with Tata than with DRDO. Ability for Tata or any pvt player to recruit any foreign expertise at any price. Govt facilitate visas, compensation, import of R&D equipment and test facilities without redtape and put political pressure where needed. Ability of certain academic profs to go on a sabbatical to work in this consortium Access to dedicated HPC clusters for simulations and analysis. And no red tape, excess budget for raw material, software, journals, ability to invite foreign academic profs on short term etc. Make 6 prototypes when earlier one used to make 2. Conduct parallel testing. Establish every test facility needed and allow for design of our own new test facilities. And then have a separate wing for the unsaid side of these things. We’ll hopefully get a 5th gen jet engine across 2-3 different thrust classes at the end of 12-15 yrs. #FundIntegratedJetenginedevelopmemtprogramme

Happy to be part of inaugural flight of Air India direct flight from Zurich to new Delhi. After 21 years, Air India is starting direct operations between Zurich-Delhi. I hope it continues and AI competes with Swiss Airline(alternate direct one) specially in punctuality & quality
