W take. Every word of it. I would even call it a masterpiece. I’m not a “you have to see this in theater” kind of person but if you can it’s worth it.

It might be the most endearing movie of all time, genuinely cannot fathom someone not having a good time during it. Gosling puts on an amazing one man acting performance and his relationship with Rocky had me tearing up multiple times, great duo. Visuals off the charts as expected and the practical sets are awesome. If you don’t see/support this in theaters you’re legally not allowed to complain about Hollywood making slop.

@lemairewatch There were plenty but it was well done. I hate flashbacks but these made sense and it wasn’t overwhelming.

@DevRickus Listened to it twice, especially since Ray Porter is one of my favorite Audible voice actors. It was a lot of back and forth between the current timeline and all of the planning and work leading up to the present. I’m guessing they probably cut down on the flashbacks a lot

@lemairewatch I didn’t read the book so had no frame of reference but it was so good. I would go watch it again immediately. Favorite movie I’ve seen in a long time. Glad I stayed away from all trailers and spoilers.
