Tesla Self-Driving sucks and doesn't work. This compressed video shows 90 minutes of Tesla's V14.2.2.5 moving through the heart of Philadelphia, and back to the suburbs for some errands. As you watch this clip, you'll start to realize that Tesla's goal of autonomy at-scale is very far from here, and probably won't ever actually happen. The entire charade is nonsense. Tesla cars have level 2 ADAS just like SuperCruise and BlueCruise. Yes, your Chevy Silverado does do this. More music by the homie @StainlessOne

@ChenrySpace Not sure I agree with this point. OW was buying parts at scale….GEO supply chain may have been their source but not previously provided at scale. The demand means the industry supply chain has been scaling up which means economies of scale.Agree more demand competition though

When OneWeb built Gen-1, it was the only LEO constellation buying parts in a market where GEO orders dried up. Translation: they got great deals. Today, there is Telesat Lightspeed, the Space Development Agency, and IRIS2. OneWeb has way less leverage today than it did in 2016.

OneWeb has many challenges, but the biggest, IMO, is figuring out how to fund a Gen-2. The existing constellation delivers decent service, but is very expensive for the amount of bandwidth it delivers. This could (and should) improve with Gen-2, but there's a problem (1/2)

Update: the guarantee that the glue lasts 5 years seems to be true to its word. I’ve covered it in masking tape so it doesn’t shatter, I’ve soaked it in rubbing alcohol and I’ve nearly sliced my hands open using garden wire to try and pull it off.
