What a great country we live in. The PM’s defence of 🇺🇦 makes me proud to be 🇨🇦.

.@PierrePoilievre was too busy posting about trans kids yesterday to acknowledge President Zelenskyy’s address to Parliament, so Michelle Rempel Garner had to go back to *2022* to repost Poilievre's statement from the last time he addressed Parliament.

My favorite part of researching the piece was going back to read statements from Modi and his national security team in 2014, 2015, and 2016. This article by Praveen Swami has the best title of the bunch that I read. thehindu.com/opinion/lead/i…

@EScrimshaw I think the most significant part of this week if you’re thinking just pure Canadian electoral politics is a reminder that the last 7 days has been an eternity- it’s been a long week. A lot has happened. Holy cow. The next election is most likely 100 weeks away. It’s a lifetime

I'm not going to predict with any confidence any India-specific polling change (I think the Fraser housing stuff is much more significant), but I would say that I think too many people assume diaspora communities vote solely on diaspora issues and not like every other community

Also I'm deeply offended that I am somehow being typecast into the role of Old Man Yelling At Clouds, but if you haven't lived through a dozen late Friday night Graves data dumps that shock us, please spend your Fridays doing something more productive

@EScrimshaw When Nanos was at about 34-29 a few weeks ago Frank said his numbers were more in line with those than with Abacus. I like Frank the twitter guy but his polling has always been a bit like what his tweets are like late at night when he tweets and drinks

@maxfawcett I really worry that the strategy from this government is to always view everything as a political issue to be handled with the same communications playbook. I really want to see more info put deliberately and thoughtfully out there. This is infowar. We aren't fighting!

I’ve deleted this. I have been told I jumped to the wrong conclusion and that this story was in the works for a while. This was my error and I regret it. To the reporters involved, apologies.
