Your cortisol is at an all time low. Life is good. A truecel walks into frame. You don't even register him. He's a 3.2 at best. Recessed chin. Negative canthal tilt. The kind of guy who gets framemogged by his own shadow. You keep talking. Then he reaches over and rips your hairpiece clean off your skull. Fifty thousand people watch your NW0 become a NW6 in 0.3 seconds. The chat goes from "king" to "NORWOOD" faster than you can cover your head. You've been brutally hairmogged by a man whose genetics you wouldn't trade a single follicle for. Your five hyperdimensional intergalactic prime Emma Watson space Latinas who were watching the stream simultaneously close their laptops. The donations stop. Someone clips it. It's trending in 4 minutes. The truecel holds your wig above his head like a trophy. For one glorious moment he is the most powerful man on the internet. Not through ascension. Not through surgerymaxxing. Through pure unhinged wig extraction. The most regarded power move in livestream history. You're now cortisolmaxxing at levels that shouldn't be survivable while a 3.2 PSL truecel is chadwalking out of your studio wearing your hairline. The bonepill was always real but nobody told you it came with a velcro strap. Your ranking drops to #47 overnight. The blackpill community writes a 9,000 word analysis. The truecel gets verified on X. You never stream again.

@thomasbrushdev I hate the term friendslop. It's so disrespectful to all the developers working hard on their games just to be called "slop". Isn't playing with friends and having fun exactly what gaming is all about? How is that slop?

I’ve learned a ton about friend “slop” in the last month in my podcast, and my attitude has definately shifted! It’s not “slop”, necessarily, is it? It’s just friend “games”. “Friend Games”. I like that phrase. What do you guys think? There’s nothing wrong with making small low risk games geared toward having fun with friends!

3DS Max is $300 a month Maya is $200 month Cinema4D is $150 a month These companies have only a fraction of the userbase that Blender has, yet they rake in BILLIONS in profit each and every year. Blender has millions of users worldwide but only made €3 million in revenue and €0 in profit last year. Only around €1.2 million came from individuals and generic small donations. The rest came from corporate sponsors and other But that wasn't enough to cover the expenses: €2.7 million staffing costs alone. The little that was left over had to be split across: - rent - travel costs - office costs - accounting costs - advisory costs - transaction fees - conference costs - other various expenses The reservation for 2025 is in the negative: €-73 k. To keep Blender alive and get better features faster, Blender needs to not only survive, but to grow a much bigger team. The only way to do that is with more funding. Everyone who have downloaded Blender should try donating at least once if you haven't already!
