When Argentina 🇦🇷 captured Falkland in 1982, Thatcher's Britain 🇬🇧 sent 127 ships within two days.
Last month after Iran attacked the British base in Cyprus, it took Starmer's Britain more than two weeks to send a single ship there.

This was London during the time of the Falkland War. The UK wasn't an empire, but it was largely homogenous and with a national sense of pride and belonging.
Don't be shocked when other countries sense how far this island has fallen, and are willing to take advantage of that.

If President Trump wants to take the Falkland Islands away from Britain, then we must reclaim the United States. Perfect way to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American Independence. King Charles can announce it to Congress next week.

The Argentine Navy is too weak to take the Falklands.
However, that may be a temporary situation and our military is also very weak.

The UK fields a fully professional military. No conscripts, no filler. Its core combat power comes from units like the Paras, Royal Marines, and Tier 1 SOF (SAS/SBS).
Argentina simply doesn’t have an equivalent professionalized structure or elite capability stack. This isn’t a symmetrical comparison.

Bizarre...unlike in the early there is actually a fairly large military force on the Falklands. And unlike in the 1980s most European countries fully back the UK in any conflict over the Falksland.
