There's a 0% federal capital gains tax rate. It's not a loophole. It's sitting in the tax code, available to millions of people every single year. Most Americans have no idea it exists. Here's how it works:

@SparkingFIRENC Have you tried budgeting a good chunk of unexpected expenses each month.. that way when there’s none it feels like a win and when they do come up it feels like part of the plan?

So far this week we have spent $120 that we weren’t expecting -$30 because our cat ate our leftover meatloaf so we had to go out for lunch 😅 -$35 bill -$55 in stuff we were asked to pick up for a party Anyone who knows me knows that unexpected expenses like this make me physically tense up Sure, we make plenty to be able to afford it, but my scarcity mindset comes out anytime an unexpected expense comes up I’m doing my best to remember to live in the moment and not let things get to me Slowly and surely I am in fact getting better at spending money “unintentionally” when needed

@Invested_In_You All the “tax loopholes” people talk about are just in the tax code, but no one reads or understands it. All the “secrets the wealthy don’t want you to know” aren’t secrets. It’s storytelling marketing. Not hating on this, it’s good info. Just highlighting what you said 2nd.

Debt is a trap. It can start with: - $40,000 in auto loans. - $20,000 on credit cards. It can lead to a: - $20,000 personal loan. - $20,000 buy now pay later loan. That's $100,000 of stressful debt. Not playing this game = A freer life.

Every year my wife and I take PTO for the first 2 days of March Madness. We go to the spa before the Thursday games start then we park ourselves on the couch with a 3 tv set up, hangout, watch basketball and eat. It’s my favorite weekend of the year!

@Invested_In_You The 0% bracket is one of the most powerful and most ignored tools in tax planning. Low income years, early retirement, career transitions. The window is real. Most people don't know to look for it.

Pennsylvania gives you a choice most people don't know they have. Pay taxes to the State. Or fund private school scholarships. Same dollars. Your call. Here's how one client is redirecting $9,000 of her state tax bill away from Harrisburg every year: ↓

Your mortgage rate is the key variable in this decision. Below ~5%: investing the difference may win on paper. Above ~6%: paying it off starts to compete. Above ~7%: the math often favors paying it off. Here's the full framework ↓

Most people treat capital gains as something that just happens to them. The ones who plan around it treat it as one of the most powerful levers in their entire financial picture.
