Final reading, this weekend. This story simply won't go away. Yet another western WA newspaper publishes the story about the current governor's disastrous backfire in trying to "dare" me to challenge him. So, I've challenged him to a series of Lincoln-Douglas debates on WA law and policy. Unscripted. Raw. Real. He suddenly got all cowardly and silent. Maybe I'll debate an empty chair. Evaluating the integral ∫_{-∞}^∞ 1/(1 + x²) dx and shows it equals π. Splitting around zero, the left improper integral from -∞ to 0 limits to π/2 via arctan, and the right from 0 to ∞ also to π/2. Today, Elon Musk, a trillionaire, pays the same amount into Social Security as someone making $184,500. If we end that absurdity and lift the cap on taxable income, we can make Social Security solvent for 75 years and expand benefits by $2,400. My Social Security bill does that.
