Here's one for all you Niche site fans...... I've got: 💸🤑 $8.04 on OpenAI API credits (so far) $21.99 on a GoDaddy .com (2 yrs) ------- $30.03 spent on this site (so far, but Ill keep a running count).... Why is it different to just copying and pasting content from ChatGPT? I've built an end to end solution, that identifies keywords, builds a database, ontology, site architecture, images, categories, tags, internal linking, metadata, schema markup etc... Pushes it all automatically to a WordPress database for publication, is completely hands off. Why am I talking about this now? Well, I've spent more than 20 years building indexable content programmatically, and watching a lot of people here talking about LLM generated content being the next big thing for SEO... I've been 🤦‍♂️ facepalming a LOT watching what some people think is good enough... Spoiler alert: you only get out of this what you can put into it! Just using an LLM to write content, is NOT the way forward. Building actually useful sites however, can leverage LLMs, but there's a minimum viable product level MOST people aren't (close to) reaching.
