@thicc_stick_boi I’d like to think that after the first punch he kinda went into freeze mode. Getting hit by butcher is probably the most disorienting punch you can handle so I just assumed homelander just couldn’t deal with the consequences of being hurt as a regular human.

I think the writers forgot he fought hand to hand against butcher and soilder boy (trained soilders) pretty decently for having 0 combat training at all while they were powered up enough to fist fight him. I guess somehow he forgot how to throw a punch here.

The only way I can see flash being beat is if they just pull a jjk and make it so that he has to activate his power to think and move that fast. That way he can be caught off guard or slowed down when he’s filtering through mind control effects.
