Teachers abandoned their jobs and bragged about wage earning parents having to miss work. "If it hurts the families, it's good for us." Homeschooling can be done in groups. Homeschooling in North Carolina is not controlled or regulated by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. Homeschooling may seem like something not all parents can do, but you can. There are hybrid options, online options, and community based options. Take ownership of your child's educational destiny. Don't rely on leftist teachers who don't care about your child, you as a parent, or their position as a role model to children. It's time the North Carolina legislature opened the voucher system to homeschooling.
