Then Iran shot down a US fighter jet and captured the pilot.
US: I expect Iran to treat the captured pilot according to the International human rights law.
What about the Iranian Navy ship that was torpedoed in the Indian Ocean by American submarine and the servicemen were allowed to drown?? Don't they have families at home too??
Do you see their hypocrisy?? They don't care about international law but expect you to treat them according to the same law. Nobody can beat the US and Israel in hypocrisy.

The Iranians have to be governed by the nerdiest regime of all time. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting an Iranian leader who has written a book on Aristotle, Kant, Farabi, etc. Therefore, in order to foster constructive diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic, the State Department should consider deploying the United States' own emergency Strategic Straussian Reserve of political philosophers. Before engaging Iran on ending the war, re-opening the Strait of Hormuz, signing mutual nonaggression pacts, and examining the future of sanctions, American political philosophers should engage the Iranians on the real issues at stake such as: -Resolving the theological-political question in both Western and Islamic contexts. -Developing a shared textual hermeneutic. -Addressing the connection between instrumental reason, technology, and modernity. We need to speak a language the Iranians understand. We need to transform these negotiations into a graduate seminar. @StateDept @SecRubio

First the US claimed it could easily overthrow Iran's government by assassinating top leaders. That failed.

So Update! This whole situation is even worse. This lady Hamideh Soleimani Afshar was kidnapped simply for having the same surname as Qasem Soleimani. Her and her daughter aren't even related to him. I didn't care if they were but Marco Rubio followed Laura Loomer's command!

Even though green card holders are supposed to have the same constitutional rights as citizens -
including due process and free speech - those protections no longer mean anything.
People cannot lose their green card status simply because of familial relationships, so the justification shifts here to their alleged support for the Iranian government.
But supporting a foreign government is not a criminal offense. And if you begin to treat it as one - as the U.S. government effectively is in this case - then expect a lot more of this.
It will not stop here, and it will not remain limited to Iranians. The logic does not contain itself, it expands.

Until recently, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter were green card holders living lavishly in the United States. Afshar is the niece of deceased Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani. She is also an outspoken supporter of the Iranian regime who celebrated attacks on Americans and referred to our country as the "Great Satan." This week, I terminated both Afshar and her daughter's legal status and they are now in ICE custody, pending removal from the United States. The Trump Administration will not allow our country to become a home for foreign nationals who support anti-American terrorist regimes.
