Kerry Cassidy is really delusional. She has a fixation on fear about AI, but also keeps repeating as though it were fact, that 'the white hats tracked the 2020 election on blockchain'. She actually says that the 'white hats' announced that they were doing this tracking of the vote by blockchain. Where are the receipts for that statement? Where did anyone, whether they can be identified as a 'white hat' or not, say that the 2020 vote was being tracked on blockchain? A single valid link would suffice. None of the people she ever interviews, or who interview her, will EVER challenge her on any of the delusional stories she spews out into this Matterium.

The data in a blockchain ONLY has value b/c of the miners. It is the decentralized nature of the mining community for any chain, that provides the value in the data within the blocks which compose that chain. Let that idea take root. It is the MANY miners, all operating in their own self interest, and the mining protocol that allows for the creation of new blocks and adding them to the chain, that is providing the value in the data in that chain. That there are many miners, all with their own goals, provides surety of data integrity. NO individual party can fuck with the data in a blockchain if there are decentralized, distributed, miners competing for creation of blocks. This is why Kerry Cassidy is mistaken, completely wrong about her claiming that the "NSA has all the 2020 votes on blockchain". It is due to her ignorance about the technical requirements of, and value within, blockchains. If the NSA was the only entity maintaining it, there is absolutely no benefit to be derived from a blockchain. It would be simply a database that anyone in the NSA could change at will. Further, she speaks and writes as though there is only one blockchain. And how does she think that all the hundreds of millions of votes were put into the blockchain? Just bitching at blatant, unquestioning, and unquestioned, poor understanding of basic technical ideas.
