The Genesis of hardware focused Venture Capital came from the partnerships between private capital, public universities, and Government agencies. It was born in the 1960's, fell out of favor in the 80's and is now reborn in the 21st century.

@JackKuhr @realKunalAShah I cannot stress enough how important it is to have investors on the cap table that have the aptitude and flexibility to double, triple, and even quadruple down on subsequent fundraising rounds.

Proof on orbit + means of deployment = the world's first commercial satellite navigation constellation Our $170M in Series C funding marks the start of scaled manufacturing for our in-house satellite at our new Burlingame facility to launch our entire constellation over the coming years.

NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman
To build a sustained human presence on the Moon, we are building @NASAMoonBase, prioritizing surface operations and scalable infrastructure.  - Frequent robotic landings and mobility testing including MoonFall drones  - Starting in 2027 nearly monthly cadence of equipment and rovers with scientific payloads landing on the Moon.  - Investments in power, communications, and surface mobility  - Scalable infrastructure to support long-term human presence The objective is clear: build the foundation for an enduring lunar base and take the next step toward Mars.

Sierra is far more than Dream Chaser and inflatable stations. The company was valued at $8B in the $550M Series C announced today. Revenue was reportedly around $800M last year. Up from $500M in 2024 and $260M in 2022. To put that in perspective: Annual revenue, roughly: - Rocket Lab: $600M - York: $350M - Intuitive Machines: $220M - Voyager: $150M Sierra leans heavily into defense (so it goes with space businesses) - Power and spacecraft components - Prime on SDA tracking layer tranche 2 (very important) - Resilient GPS contract - $1.5B in defense contracts won since 2023 - Dream Chaser will likely be more of a Pentagon asset than a NASA one Interesting they chose not to raise this money on public markets. I assumed they would have given their scale.

Lunar Outpost's autonomous robotic rovers keep lunar construction, maintenance, and infrastructure deployment moving, with or without crew. Purpose-built for sustained lunar operations, our rovers are: • Efficient and cost-effective at scale • Spaceflight-proven, with key systems and subsystems achieving TRL 9 on Lunar Voyage 1 • Radiation-resilient and lunar-dust-repellent • Equipped to survive the long lunar night Built to accelerate a Moon base for America. #LunarOutpost #DrivingArtemis #TheNextLeap #SpaceTech #Innovation

Who do you think NASA gives money too? SpaceX, Blue Origin, To key Lab, ULA, LM Space, Boeing Space, Firefly, Relativity Space, Stoke Space. They help support a lot of private companies. Without NASA, none of this would be possible. So please, stop shitting on NASA. They’re great

If anything, Stoke, Starfish, and Portal started the Seattle space trend.

Welcome to the neighbourhood Aetherflux! 🌲🙌 When we first moved @Starcloud_ from El Segundo to Redmond, WA, people told us it was dumb and that we needed to be in LA to build a space company. But we knew better. Did we kick off a new trend for space startups? 😃 90% of all satellites launched in the last few years were designed, built, and tested in Redmond, WA, home of both SpaceX Starlink and Amazon Leo. Also home to the two largest data center companies, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure! @AetherfluxUSA @awscloud @Azure @SpaceX

Why is the NASA Deputy Administrator important? Just ask the commercial space industry where they'd be if Lori Garver hadn't been in that post in 2009-2015. The nation would be totally f*cked, waiting for Vulcan. And Starliner would have been the sole spacecraft, built on a cost-plus contract with even longer delays.

@VladSaigau Can, not necessarily will. There is no economic incentive to low prices without competition.

Falcon 9 booster hit 33 reuses recently If all goes wrong and Starship never becomes reusable, but the SuperHeavy booster can be reused 30x times, cost to LEO still drops to $250/kg, which is a ~3x improvement over Falcon today.

We are in the “containerization” era of space. Containers reshaped the world & rapidly reusable launch will do the same. s/o to @stoke_space @StarfishSpace & @Starcloud_ for doing the hard work (we 🫶🏻 you)

@kmh @LionnetPierre @arstechnica Nonsense, competition is driven by launch opportunity and cost. Nova is attempting to deliver a rapid fully reusable rocket that fulfills both requirements. What happens to Neutron if SpaceX decides to start lowering their F9 rideshare cost or have dedicated F9 launch < $20MM?

Happy to announce an extension of our Series D financing round to $860M, adding $350M to the initial $510M raised in October 2025. This brings our total funds raised to $1.34B. We're grateful to our investors and excited to bring our fully and rapidly reusable Nova rocket to market while accelerating future elements of the product roadmap.
