[FOUNDER'S WEEKLY UPDATE] Last week wasn’t just another week-it was a glimpse into the DKG’s future. Here’s what happened.👇 The past week showed what the future of AI looks like when grounded in knowledge. Agentic nodes, edge publishing, bridge upgrades, and digital twins all advanced-laying the foundation for exponential network effects. The age of AI that guesses is ending. The age of AI that knows is beginning. Large language models have shown their limits- even Sam Altman thinks GPT-5 underwhelmed, and as @GaryMarcus points out, scaling prediction machines doesn’t yield reliable intelligence. Without grounded knowledge, AI outputs are very unreliable (more on this in another post). That is why the upcoming Metcalfe Convergence Phase of the @origin_trail roadmap is so significant: DKG nodes and AI agents, symbolic and neural AI, publishers and end users - all converging. Each new participant multiplies value through powerful network effects, turning the DKG into a collective agentic memory of verifiable knowledge. Last Friday’s On Trac(k) podcast gave a glimpse of this future with a live demo of the Agentic Edge Node running in a browser extension. Everyday browsing producing signed, structured knowledge published directly to the DKG, showing how frictionless DKG publishing is becoming. Previously last week at @WebX_Asia, @TomazOT outlined three shifts shaping the year ahead (via @CoinRank_io): 1. Connectivity: AI linking into non-public data & countless tools via agents 2. Reliability: Trust becomes central, with Web3 providing the assurance layer 3. Edge devices: Phones, laptops, and smart homes running private models at the edge Full context: x.com/origin_trail/s… @umanitek continues to advance its Guardian agent on the DKG - as @drevziga highlighted their “collective immune system” is advancing on the DKG, enabling collaborative AI that respects privacy while still benefiting from shared, verifiable knowledge. Context: x.com/drevziga/statu… The infrastructure is advancing quickly: - DKG v8.1.1 and v8.1.2 are in the final stages of preparation and set for imminent deployment, boosting robustness and scaling for the surge of edge-driven knowledge, finalizing the Tuning phase of V8.1 - The @NeuroWebAI ↔ Ethereum bridge, built with the @_snowbridge team, is in final deployment stages-delivering a long-awaited upgrade for seamless interoperability. Meanwhile, the DmaaST smart manufacturing platform is taking shape on the DKG. DMaaST (“Data Management as a Service for Trust”) got new DKG edge nodes and an updated ontology this week, enabling manufacturing digital twin deployment, bringing provenance, transparency, and interoperability to critical aerospace and manufacturing data ecosystems. The community is rising to the challenge. The latest @origin_trail RFC drew strong community participation, evidence that the network’s evolution is being actively shaped by its builders and operators. And adoption is building. New projects (not yet public) are underway that will bring even more data, more agents, and more publishers onto the DKG. Looking ahead: this week we join @Microsoft to showcase the Agentic Node and MCP-demonstrating how verifiable AI becomes enterprise-ready. More info: x.com/origin_trail/s… As nodes, agents, and publishers converge, the DKG is evolving into the foundation of trusted, autonomous knowledge. Learn more about the upcoming Metcalfe Convergence in last week’s On Trac(k) podcast.
