Hot take but I like Nietzsche and always have despite his hatred for Christianity. If you are honest and map out a secular worldview, he’s one of the only people to actually do it correctly. I know I’m not alone and people will get mad without knowing anything but oh well

@noetic_emetic nietzsche is impressive because he noticed and documented the modernity-defining cultural and spiritual forces in a time period when those forces were subtler. in 2026 the same observations might be unimpressive and too obvious to anyone moderately intelligent and attentive.

I think part of Itachi's beauty as a character is that despite his many accomplishments and genius, he is far from a perfect person. While he may be a nearly perfect shinobi, it came at the expense of his humanity.

One of the biggest clichés I've seen in Naruto fanfiction is the tendency to minimize Itachi's actions while portraying Sasuke as deserving all the trauma and turmoil he experiences as a direct result of those actions.
