So here you have it - such a historic tweet. The Ethereum team announcing the introduction of standard tokens. Really cool to see MistCoin there as the first standard token, along with the Reddit thread where $MC was initially distributed (“free to claim”). A strong resemblance to the most iconic crypto collectible - but two years earlier. $WMC

One week before this panel, @feindura had deployed MistCoin, the first prototype of the token standard. And week after this it panel, @feindura @VitalikButerin proposed the ERC-20 standard. $WMC
