This TSA catastrophe is the Democrat Party in a nutshell. They are directly causing immense hardship for American citizens, all for the sake of foreign invaders who don’t belong in this country. This is their Foreigners First ideology perfectly illustrated.

I assume you asked genuinely, so I’ll answer genuinely. I live in the country, but I’m certainly part of the demographic that you might see as “boring” like this. Here’s my Friday: I wake to the shouts and giggles of two little boys. Get some hugs and some coffee, now it’s time to make money. At about 1pm my sons busted into my office and asked me if I’d take them to play golf. I said yes because I’ve built a life in which I can. When we get home, I finish work. Later, we have dinner as a family (chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes, it was 🔥). My sons ranked their days on a scale from 1-10 like we do and they said today was a “10.” Whatever high yall city folk get from “going out,” I got it from that. Then I played basketball with my sons. We watched a little TV on the couch together. Now it’s bath time, bed time, Bible and prayers. As my oldest closed his eyes, he told me how he makes his friends pray before they eat lunch. I felt that “high” again. Kids are asleep. So now it’s time for mom and dad to do some fun things that married people do. This is my Friday night. And I’ll be absolutely WIPED by 10pm - it was a full day. And while it might sound insane to you right now, I wouldn’t trade places with any person on Earth. I have what men search for all their lives; what men would sacrifice everything to have. Some have lost it chasing the things you’re suggesting I’m missing out on. I mean this with all the love in the world. I’m not defensive. But I know with certainty, what you find rewarding will change the instant you are holding your first child in your arms. @BlueBoxDave @Cernovich MAHA voter here. Pretty confused how we can take Maduro and obliterate Iran but it’s just impossible! to hold Fauci and others accountable for what they did to parents and children during covid.

@Cernovich I completely agree that ignoring MAHA is a massive mistake. I reported that out re: NJ and VA. And MAHA voters absolutely show up in polling. I don’t see that here. At least not yet.

Asking why MAGA isn't rioting (because conservatives regularly march in the streets?) over Iran misses the point. It's what other issues aren't getting attention. I hear from the MAHA moms almost daily. They aren't suddenly Democrats again, but they aren't going to vote.

@JamesAFurey My kid has T1D at a school with cell phone bans. He just uses it at meal times and otherwise must remain in his pocket. If he takes it out otherwise he goes to the Deans office. It’s really not an issue at all.

This is 1000% true. "I need to be able to get a hold of my kid." "What if something happens at school." "What if plans change and I need to tell them." "What if my kid has diabetes?" "You just want to get away with transing my kid!" Ad nauseum.

There's no break in MAGA. Trump's approval with MAGA GOP is literally 100%. 90% of MAGA GOP approve of US military action in Iran. Those who disapprove of Trump are not MAGA at this point. Importantly: MAGA makes up the same share of voters as it did when Trump won in 2024.

I’ve noticed that in all the talk about the “unallowed” ESA purchases, the critics leave out the important detail that the AZ Dep of Ed has strict policies on this, will suspend and/or terminate, & will claw back the funds, even referring to collections if not already paid back.

@MomCooksFS @MrDanielBuck With due respect, that's just not true in many cases. I spent a decade working in schools (affluent and poor) and have raised three kids who've attended public, charter and parochial. Generalizations like this show ignorance and a lack of experience.

If behavior is the #1 reason teachers want to leave the profession, parents must ask themselves what part of that is on them? Can't bang the table for parental rights and then take no responsibility for student behavior. Plenty of kids behave well. But too many do not.

Students who took notes by hand scored ~28% higher on conceptual questions than laptop note-takers. Writing forces your brain to process and compress ideas instead of copying them.

@marcportermagee Not true they have offered little. They’ve mandated destructive policies such as the ones implemented due to Obama’s dear colleague letter and SEL. They’ve offered a significant amount of policy to single handedly destroyed public education.
