Why are people so afraid of a lame duck 80-year-old President with the worst approval rating in American history? Explain it to me like I'm 5.

U.S. Central Command
More than 10,000 U.S. Sailors, Marines, and Airmen along with over a dozen warships and dozens of aircraft are executing the mission to blockade ships entering and departing Iranian ports. During the first 24 hours, no ships made it past the U.S. blockade and 6 merchant vessels complied with direction from U.S. forces to turn around to re-enter an Iranian port on the Gulf of Oman. The blockade is being enforced impartially against vessels of all nations entering or departing Iranian ports and coastal areas, including all Iranian ports on the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman. U.S. forces are supporting freedom of navigation for vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz to and from non-Iranian ports.

Again, I will ask: where are our congressional leaders when our nation plunges deeper into a war that the president chose, in contravention to the US Constitution? We are in a full scale war with Iran, and now Trump has escalated it to a naval blockade, which is an overt act of war, and yet Congress is still nowhere. I will continue to highlight this blatant violation of their most basic and elementary duty, abdicating their responsibilities to the American people. They continue to get their full salary, while doing no business for our country. Hell, they can’t even fully fund the government, why do I think they would be able to handle issues of war in peace that could have existential implications for our country? As I see it, the only solution to this is to fire every bloody one of them come November. I don’t think a single incumbent should keep their job after November‘s election. I will not vote for a single incumbent next election date.

Netanyahu: "Vance reported to me on his way back from Islamabad, as he does every day." For the first time in history, a senior official of a government is providing "daily briefings" to the head of another state! The issue is not us; it is a matter of structural humiliation. Do the American people realize that the White House has effectively turned into a "reporting branch" for another regime?

If reports of a 20 year ban on Iran’s enrichment are accurate, and I doubt it, that would be a terrible concession. There’s no need for any concessions.  The Iranian regime will collapse if we keep the pressure on.

It’s pretty funny watching all the anti-Trumpers come to the realization that Trump is not “closing” the strait, he is securing it. The US Navy are running grid patterns de-mining the strait and blockading Iranian ports, making it safe for commercial shipping. The US doesn't want ANY Iranian ship capable of dropping a mine moving. It’s really not complicated.

The United States is enforcing a blockade on ships entering and departing Iranian ports, with no vessels breaching it in the first 24 hours, US Central Command said in a post on X. “More than 10,000 US Sailors, Marines, and Airmen, along with over a dozen warships and dozens of aircraft, are executing the mission to blockade ships entering and departing Iranian ports,” United States Central Command said. Trump's naval blockade has turned into an epic embarrasment. Tankers are flowing straight through the Strait of Hormuz, essentially giving the finger as they pass by. Billions of tax dollars dollars spent. Lives lost. America once again made a joke on the global stage.

🇺🇸 The ships turning back at the Strait are doing so roughly 400 kilometers from where the USS Abraham Lincoln is currently positioned. That's a horizon-level threat; close enough to respond, far enough to not provoke. The blockade is being enforced by presence, not proximity. The carrier doesn't need to be at the door to own the room. Source: Geopolitics Watch

🇺🇸🇮🇷 6 merchant ships just turned around and sailed straight back to Iranian ports after hitting the U.S. naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz. In the first 24 hours, zero ships made it through, with over 10,000 U.S. troops and 12 Navy ships locking it down.

@Unveiled_ChinaX Dumb analysis. The countries who assemble the smartphones get their inputs from CHINA. That's why their trade surplus is exploding.

The "Made in China" era for smartphones isn't just ending; it has officially collapsed. New data from SemiAnalysis reveals a tectonic shift in the global supply chain: U.S. smartphone imports from China have plummeted from a dominant 90% in 2022 to just 25% today. The Foxconn-led assembly network, which served as the undisputed backbone of Apple’s hardware empire for decades, is being systematically dismantled in favor of "China Plus One" hubs. India and Southeast Asia have surged to fill the vacuum, now accounting for 75% of all U.S. smartphone imports. This isn't a temporary dip; it is a full-scale execution of a "forced derisking" strategy that is reshaping the consumer electronics landscape in real-time. But the disruption doesn't stop at mobile. The transition in the PC sector has been even more extreme, with almost all final assembly for the U.S. market successfully migrated outside of Chinese borders. We are witnessing the fastest decoupling of a tech ecosystem in history. For global players, the message is clear: the centrality of the China assembly network is no longer a given—it’s a liability. #SupplyChain #Apple #TechNews2026 #MadeInIndia #Decoupling #ChinaPlusOne #SmartphoneMarket #GlobalTrade #SemiAnalysis #TechGeopolitics

US smartphone imports from China have collapsed from 90% to 25%. The Foxconn China assembly network, once the undisputed backbone of Apple's hardware empire, is seeing its centrality eroded in real time. This is the clearest data point yet of a forced, systematic derisking of the consumer electronics supply chain. (1/3)🧵
