To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio. I thought it would be a lot worse than Perimeter at first. But it’s actually so much better. I think the live events in Dire are the true difference here, as to why it’s that much better. Perimeter just felt like “Maybe I’ll see someone this game and maybe I won’t”. Dire is actually pretty constant action for me with those events live. So far loving it

@MarathonDevTeam Add 5k solos I’m so tired of these fill teammates already.

We have seen some reports asking if the final exfil in Cryo Archive is not working because it does not show on the overhead map. Cryo Archive is the most dangerous place in Marathon, escape is not guaranteed. You will need to interact with the ship's systems before the timer runs out to make sure you can get off the ship alive. There is a final exfil but it's only a true last resort, not a reliable way off the ship. It is more elusive than typical final exfils on other less difficult zones, leading to more risk if players choose to take this option. It is hidden from the map and only gives you 60 seconds to find it.

We cleared Vault 1 pretty easily since you only need a key and batteries but cannot find a way to get into Vault 2 since it needs a Coolant, anyone found a spawn for it?

This was easily one of the best games I've played in the last 5 years, still can't believe it flew under most people's radars. When I say I enjoyed it more than Elden Ring just know that I mean it. And I really freaking enjoyed Elden Ring.

crotas end is genuinely so bad, you literally can not get past the bridge without dying as there isnt a post bridge checkpoint anymore, this was during duo flawless where my friend cant res me, @Destiny2Team is this ever getting fixed bc 4 months of this is coal

Our next Major Update, Destiny 2: Shadow and Order, is undergoing large revisions and will be delayed. This update is being changed and expanded to include sizable quality-of-life updates and as a result, will also be renamed. This update will now launch on June 9, 2026. We will provide exact details closer to release covering previously announced Weapon Tier Upgrading, but also additions like expanding Tiered Gear to all Raid and Dungeon activities, Pantheon 2.0, Tier 5 stats for Exotic Armors, and more. Through June, we will continue to have routine bug fixes and stability improvements, continued portal modifiers, Guardian Games (March), and the return of a more frequent Iron Banner cadence (April). In terms of communications, we will be focusing on providing you with updates about our live game content, community activations, and general upkeep through the TWID and our Destiny social channels. Thank you for your continued patience and support. We will have more information on our next major update and future plans for Destiny 2 closer to launch. See You Starside.
