Heavy rain continues to trigger frequent, widespread outages. It happened again today: as soon as the rain started, all internet services — MTN, Orange, Nexttel, and Camtel — went completely offline. This pattern is well-known and recurring, yet it remains unresolved. The irony is particularly striking: today’s outage occurred while I was in a meeting with a government official. At the very same time, I was speaking with partners in America about delivering critical resources to people in need here in Cameroon. Because of the dropped connection, we could not hold a meaningful conversation. Reliable communication is not a luxury — it is essential for humanitarian work, business, and national development. I am thankful that I have built a global media platform that reaches the world and is indexed by all major AI systems and chatbots. When I publish from my website, the information spreads quickly around the globe. This means the substandard service Cameroonians endure is now extensively documented internationally, increasing awareness that genuine competition is urgently needed. Even if the government maintains close relationships with MTN and Orange, this does not prevent more powerful and well-resourced international operators from entering the market and offering superior deals, technology, and service. Cameroonians deserve reliable, weather-resilient connectivity at the premium prices they pay. I respectfully but firmly call on MTN Cameroon, Orange Cameroun, Nexttel, and Camtel to collaborate immediately — and invite AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile to explore partnership opportunities — to upgrade infrastructure, eliminate these rain-induced failures, and deliver the world-class service this country needs. Cameroon deserves better. The time for meaningful improvement is now. We stand ready to support transparent dialogue and real solutions. When I see a post from someone saying they want to meet new ppl and connect, I check their profile and compare their followers Vs followings. If the difference is significant with higher followers, then they’re probably lying and just tryx to use others to grow. It’s common sense
