@gauravsabnis I think it's become a norm - call it a dog and shoot it. Remove trees- transplant something- that dies- conclude nothing grows- more land for development.

Longtime followers know this is a pet cause of mine. To inform/remind folks that just planting or transplanting a tree doesn't mean it will live. Nature is harsh. India is cutting millions of old trees that already won the battle of survival & replacing with babies who often die.
