BREAKING: NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman announces plans to build a PERMANENT U.S. base on the Moon—the plan rolls out in three phases: rover and tech deployments, semi-habitable infrastructure for astronauts, and ultimately a permanent human presence on the lunar surface. Isaacman called it “humanity’s first permanent surface outpost beyond Earth."

The things the robots can do right now are amazing. I don’t see how they couldn’t perform trade tasks, even more complicated ones as AI gets better. Yeah maybe you need a foreman or supervisors to give direction and inspect. But we don’t need millions of those guys. And on the other hand is that the kind of market you want with a surplus of laborers?

Make our meetinghouses beautiful especially the chapel. Our altars should be made of top notch materials and our walls shouldn’t have an abundance of emptiness. I know it might be more expensive but beauty invites the spirit and can go a long way with more people want to worship there.

@ShitpostRock2 Catholic a hard *maybe*. But Protestants? They got no room to talk. They’re 60,000+ glorified Bible clubs that can’t even agree on the clearest biblical interpretations. Sola scripture was cooked from the start.

Let’s pretend that’s true. That doesn’t refute *anything* I said. Protestantism is doomed to fracture into tense of thousands of denominations mocking Christ’s call for unity. Sola scriptura is built on sand. And it might be why around 42% of converts to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is made up of former Protestants (the rest are Catholics and non-religious). Brother it’s time to pick up your Bible, pray about it, and figure out that God had dealings with other people in the world with their own prophets and challenges- which is reflected in the Book of Mormon. And nowhere in the Bible does it support Sola Scriptura- not Jesus, not Moses, not the apostles. Be well friend. Christ loves you.

No. I respect your question. The Mormon faith is its own religion not Christianity, it’s Mormonism. This is a completely different faith than having only faith in Christ and in His word only which is the Bible. The Bible teaches one God operating in three offices within the Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In Matthew 3:17 the Heavenly Father speaks from heaven His pleasure in His beloved Son Jesus Christ who filled that position of the Godhead while the Holy Spirit descended like a dove. Truly our Heavenly Father was well pleased in His Son Jesus Christ who filled that position of the God head and made the pathway complete whereby man can have a way back to the Father. Jesus said I and My Father are one.
Bryan Lords@BryanLords

@_BrettRyanMusic @jared_shult I respect your opinions on my faith, and I don’t expect to change your mind and you likely won’t change mine, but may I ask a question? Matthew 3:17 “And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Is God speaking to himself?

That doesn’t answer the Sola Scriptura challenge. The Bible, Christ, and apostles don’t support it. And that’s a single out of context scripture. Why won’t you quote rest of Galatians? And what about knowing the truth by its fruits in Matthew 7:16? What makes your tradition’s biblical interpretation superior than another Protestant group’s interpretation? You have 60,000+ Protestant groups globally who agree on virtually nothing across the board despite being “Sola Scriptura”.

@_BrettRyanMusic I know Him and the Bible pretty well. Enough to know that neither Jesus nor His apostles said that the Bible is the final authority.

Because there’s money at stake for a lot of other Christian groups. In the creedist defense what else are they supposed to do? Just allow their congregations to lose memberships or have their buildings close down? Pastor McGriddle and his friends needs those donations and some leaders or their adherents will be deceptive or mindlessly repeat falsehoods about the Church which are often debunked by a Google search. Nearly half of the Church of Jesus Christ is made up of converts that come from creedal traditions. So of course they can’t just be cool with it. People celebrate because Christianity has stabilized in its numbers. But it’s *only* just stabalized and it doesn’t ignore the decades of decline that some of them will feel for a long time if they manage to not close their churches.

hey Creedalists? answer me something here. if you genuinely think the LDS faith is so wrong and seemingly not true, why do you waste so many hours attacking it like your life depends on it? who wastes time hating something they claim to not be true? who wastes time commenting that someone is "not Christian" just because they refuse to affirm a man-made document that isn't even Biblical? yes, you heard me. the Creeds are not Biblical. they were a political stunt several centuries after Christ was resurrected, made in an attempt to maintain control of people who kept having dissenting and misaligned views with one another the Book of Mormon, however, draws many direct references to things found in the Bible and affirms them completely. I dare-say the Book of Mormon teaches of Christ MORE times than the Bible does, and the Bible already does that plenty of times (which y'all would know if you actually read it like latter-day saints do) The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's truly, fully restored Church on this Earth, and no amount of screaming and false gatekeeping is going to change that. good day to all of you and happy Sunday
