@LIRR @405_Taylor_Av @LIRR These changes sound like a step in the right direction but it's hard to tell without the actual schedule. It mentions now 4 direct trains to Atl on Hempstead branch up from 1 but doesn't give any further details, is there a place I can see the full schedules?

@octagon4916 @LIRR Very interesting, I'm highly suspicious of the facts they spew out and it isn't helped by the fact that they release so little data that were forced to keep speculating.

@LIRR Based on the estimated LIRR ridership data at data.ny.gov/Transportation…, it appears that over 8.2 million riders have taken the LIRR since Feb. 27. How does this reconcile to the March 2023 report that stated that 30-35% of commuters were traveling through GCM?

@YoshiEggsSmell @LIRR Haha, I mean ya but to make this trek in <15s I run from the train and jump down all five steps at a full sprint to make it *literally* by 1 second. I'm not sure the last time you jumped 5 steps at a full sprint to slick concrete but it's hard, I've hurt my ankle doing less 😂

@Starstorms9 @LIRR You are complaining about FIVE steps?! 😂😂 There is no need for a ramp, as this is not an ADA-accessible area. Maybe people should get their nose out of their phone and pay attention to where they are walking, in order to avoid having people “jump and trip” over these. 🤦🏻‍♂️

These stairs to Atl shuttles infuriate me. Could easily be a shallow ramp but instead people jump and trip over these to make their horribly timed trains. Emphasizes how @lirr had no idea or care how bad this schedule would be and didn't even bother trying to make it easier.

@LawngIsland These statements are a bit crazy, the 30% getting better commutes vs 70% getting worse is a great example of focusing on exactly the wrong thing ha And the 94% on time is hilarious! It's been delayed significantly nearly everyday and made it hard to make connections.

@TheLIRRToday @LIRR @wafisher This feature is mildly useful, but I agree it's very sad it's just rolling out now. I wish it gave an indication of how often a certain transfer is made or missed so you get an idea how reliable it is haha...

@LIRR The "more departures" feature in TrainTime is nice (though sad it's necessary...). It'd be good if you could choose to leave earlier for e/b trips since you have more options. My suggestion would be to move transfer info to a separate line & put options there. @wafisher

@TheLIRRToday "tremendous adjustment" for Brooklyn commuters comment is so insulting, it's not just an "adjustment", it's objectively worse in every way and takes longer! There is literally no redeeming quality. She has the nerve to ruin it herself and then blame the riders for not "adjusting"
