According to @mathurapolice, 'Gou Rakshak' Chandrashekhar alias 'Farsa Baba' stopped a vehicle on suspicion. During this incident, he lost his life after being struck by a truck approaching from behind amidst dense fog. The container vehicle stopped by the Baba was found to be carrying groceries, while the truck that struck him from behind was loaded with wire coils. This was a road accident, There's no connection whatsoever to the smuggling of cattle.

@kshashi @PuneCityTraffic The number of two wheelers without number plates have skyrocketed. Since they all have rear plates missing it's difficult for even traffic police to catch them. But when caught the vehicle should be immediately impounded as deterrent.

Just another evening on Pune roads where you spot a vehicle without number plate. How are you going to issue challan to this vehicle, @PuneCityTraffic?

West Bengal once was the cultural and industrial capital of India and then it was hit by INDI rule… Punjab once was the most prosperous and healthy state of India and then it was hit by INDI rule… Tamil Nadu was progressing so well as India’s leading state under MGR/JJ rule but then was hit by INDI rule and is sliding down alarmingly since JJ died… Punjab gets an opportunity next year but WB & TN citizens get an opportunity soon to put their states back on fast track progress by voting for NDA/BJP! @schandrabxr The airline is correct. Your hand baggage cannot weigh more than 7kg AND fit within the specified dimensions.

My cabin trolley weighed 10 kg and my laptop bag 4 kg — well within the 15 kg cabin allowance. Yet I was forced to check in my bag. The issue was clearly not weight but selective enforcement. After I requested to keep my cabin bag (as it had fragile items), the staff member marked my seat as “overweight baggage” in the system even after weighing at counter also which came to 10 kg. At the boarding gate I was stopped, a weighing machine was brought checked again at boarding gate and my bag was taken for check-in. What made it worse — right in front of me many passengers were carrying 3 items (trolley + laptop bag + hand bag) without any issue. If it is a rule, it should apply to everyone equally. Why was only my bag measured and tagged?

Very disappointing experience with @airindia on Flight AI2772 at Kolkata. I had only ONE cabin bag + laptop and approached the counter only for a printed boarding pass despite having DigiYatra. The counter staff rudely insisted on checking in my cabin bag even after I explained it contained fragile items and that I needed a quick airport exit. When I said I would proceed to the gate using DigiYatra, my seat was marked as “overweight baggage” in the system. At the boarding gate I was stopped, a weighing machine was brought, and my cabin bag was forcibly taken for check-in. Unnecessary harassment, rude behaviour and very poor passenger handling. Extremely disappointed. This is not the service expected from Air India.

@dhampur_rahul @EchoingWorlds @ChandrusWeb Army jawan retired after 20 years service if not suitable for promotion and even a JCO / officer retired at 52/54. In AR retirement is at 60 irrespective of rank. That would have to go if incorporated into army.

@EchoingWorlds @SunilIssar @ChandrusWeb Yes, that better. If army has to be there ( which comes for perk (including smuggling, personally aware of it) and promotion) , the soldier of AR must get equivalent facilities. (We aren't asking for pension like Army) Otherwise let it under MHA alone.

Without getting into IPS vs CAPF, why can't the officers of the cadre become the DsG of each CAPF. Are they less competent? What is the reason? The directly recruited ACs of the Coast Guard are now heading the Force. Why not for the CAPFs.

@ragiiing_bull The burners on a stove used for piped gas are not suitable for cylinder gas. Safety issue unless they have a separate stove.

Yesterday someone said I've piped gas at home & have obtained a Cylinder as stand by. But as far as my knowledge goes one has to furnish a certificate that he/she has surrendered the old gas connection before getting piped gas at home.
