@Switz77 @nocoradio One anecdotal example would be 365 Days with Calvin. I’ve found many of the devotional selections are good and true, but gospel-less. Not Calvin’s fault, of course, but the editors!

All Law and no Gospel devotionals make me sad.

I’ve noticed a trend: some Christians, often younger men, feel justified in speaking harshly or even maliciously about other believers because they think bad theology warrants it. It doesn’t. “The Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone… correcting his opponents with gentleness.” (2 Timothy 2:24–25) Truth never requires unchristlike behavior.

People who feel empty inside try to fill it with attention. Pearl knows this. This is Pearl producing a kind of porn for her audience right now. @lmt2683 @DefiantBaptist @pearlythingz If you look at the Bible, plenty of prostitutes were saved by God. Rahab was saved both spiritually and relationally. She was a part of Jesus' genealogy.
