Between Trump’s "Pearl Harbor" insults and Takaichi’s "only you, Donald" praise, the U.S.-Japan alliance has devolved into a master-client relationship. Real leadership involves standing up for your people’s interests, not offering empty flattery to a leader who clearly has no respect for your history or your sovereignty. Huh!

It is disappointing that some countries which present themselves as democratic and peace-loving only see one side of the story. If you are truly committed to peace and international law, why are attacks on Iran’s infrastructure not condemned with the same seriousness?
