Today in a sleepy, small sweet village in Cornwall, where everyone wears their Sunday best to go to church, the locals crochet little toppers for the post boxes and the trees, little community centres, pubs and churches, nobody locks their doors, the neighbours all look out for each other...

This is the pits...Just heard that in Headingley Leeds, in one of the leafiest, quietest most desirable residential avenues in the city, a hall of residence, adjacent to a convent and right in the heart of an area that houses thousands of young female students living away from home, is to house 250 single male migrants. Is nowhere safe?!

Meet Robert Homans of Birmingham. He served in Afghanistan from the age of 19.

I’m not religious but I have friends, colleagues and neighbours of all faiths and none.
