Very supportive of “internal development” being the focus, as it should have been at any point in the prior 4 seasons when they ignored it entirely. That being said, this style of pivot could not have come at a worse time.

Here’s how I think this goes, and i know I’ve been an asshole today, but I’m being honest: 1. Trade out of draft for cash/1 second 2. Re-sign Bones, Mike, Kyle 3. Portion of MLE on a bench guy like Tyus, THJ, or a random big like a Nurkic That’s it. Just how I see it unfolding

It's unbelievable that these networks still haven't figured out how to cover the draft. No one wants these long player interviews. They want highlights, player comps, and how said player fits into the long-term future. That's it.

Alright it seems the plan really is dump Julius and run it back. No matter your thoughts on Julius, a franchise with serious priorities doesn’t do that. Just like staying quiet last year was a bad plan, this isn’t a good plan. Mediocrity is the highest likelihood.

So how many future 2nds do we even have at this point? Ive been over-joking about Tim trading 33 for cash (which I still think he does), but practically I would not be opposed to just using that to trade around a few times for multiple 2nds for later.
