Not the case at all.
Not one individual is capable of distinguishing right from wrong. Everyone thinks they are the exception. You aren’t.

Another way to say this is: "90% of humans will never, in their entire lives, ever be capable of knowing right from wrong without external, communal support for their belief systems." When you get rid of religion, 90% (or more) of people will go looking for "well then, what's the thing I'm supposed to believe?" and they will have no idea they're doing it. And then you tell them that it's "cut your dick off and worship criminals" and they go "OK." And they believe that they "figured it out themselves"

The year is 2025. A product manager sips the last of his oat milk cappuccino at Blue Bottle sf and decides he will start the first developer-less tech company.
At first things are perfect. He can accomplish in one prompting session what it took his team 3 sprints to accomplish. His velocity cannot be measured in story points. His app goes viral and he's living the dream. 1000s of users sign up.
On October 1 things go terribly wrong. OpenAI forever deprecates the model he's been using: GPT4o.a.5. The founder's complex network of prompts fail and bring his entire product down. To make matters worse: the google doc that he has stored his single file repo (80k lines of code) gets corrupted and the history is lost.
He frantically calls his developer friends (whom he's been subtweeting constantly as "legacy"), but no one can help.
He calls AWS but the 3k lambda micro-services that run his backend are inscrutable to all but GPT4o.a.5.
He apologizes to all his users and calls his old boss at meta and asks for his job back (lead product manager on the instagram like button redesign team).
He is informed that the position has been filled by AI.
