@TheChunkeyNinja You can end up paying more if you get a tax exemption for something in the UK that isn’t tax exempt in the US. Capital gains from the sale of your main residence for example.

@Vehlin Well yes I'd certainly have to file, but one of the cool things is there are treaties and exceptions to prevent double taxing. Curious if there's some ways to pay less tax using it under the right circumstances

So kind of funny thing I found out, is I'm entitled to become a US citizen. Dunno why I would do it, curious if there's any real benefits to doing so.
