@kaseyklimes Visual design relevance shifts but doesn't disappear... it becomes about systems thinking. The designers winning now are treating Figma as a tokenized source of truth, not just a canvas. That's where the leverage is.

@PrajwalTomar_ 100%. The friction isn't the AI.... it's starting from nothing every time. Having a production-ready foundation means Claude actually ships, not iterates on wireframes.

I've been testing Google Stitch 2.0 for a week now and it's genuinely replacing Figma in my workflow. → Infinite canvas where you drop references, screenshots, and everything in one place → Voice mode that feels like talking to a colleague about your design → Auto-generates the next screens by predicting what you haven't built yet → DESIGN(.)md gives you a portable design system in markdown → MCP server that pipes designs straight into Claude Code If you're still designing MVPs in Figma from scratch, you're wasting hours. Stitch into Claude Code via MCP is the pipeline that kills "AI slop" for good.

@DataChaz This is the move. Design systems as data > design systems as PDFs. When your UI kit is tokenized and structured, agents can actually work with it reliably.

🚨We finally have a ‘Figma for AI agents’. Meet Awesome-design-md. It's an amazing curated collection of UI systems extracted from 50+ top websites, formatted for coding agents. Instead of parsing screenshots or messy design files, just drop a DESIGN.md into your project. It upgrades your AI’s UI skills instantly: → Unlocks 50+ elite design systems: Cursor, Vercel, Stripe, Spotify, SpaceX, and more → Structured into 9 clear sections: typography, spacing, elevation, rules → Includes light/dark previews for quick visual checks → Uses Google Stitch’s native plain-text format for LLMs Best part? You don't have to guess the prompting. Every file includes an Agent Guide with ready-to-use prompts. AGENTS.md controls the logic. DESIGN.md controls the UI 👊 100% Free and open-source. Repo in 🧵↓

most designers build components. the ones who scale build systems. there's a massive difference between "I have a button" and "I have a button that works across every breakpoint, theme, and state — without breaking anything downstream" that's what a real design system does.

@uiux_hamad neubrutalism is genuinely one of those styles that hits different when done right in Figma. thick borders, bold shadows, raw color — clients either love it or have no idea what they're looking at 😭

Unpopular opinion: most "design systems" aren't design systems. They're just a Figma file with components. A real design system has: → Tokens that drive everything → Components that never break → Rules the whole team actually follows → Structure that survives new designers joining That's what we spent a year building with VOIT. 10k+ components. Built right. voit.io #Figma #DesignSystems #UIDesign

@janm_uiux Great list. I'd add one more: whatever keeps your design system in sync with your dev environment. The extension game is strong but the real unlock is when your tokens and components travel seamlessly between Figma and code.

@zander_supafast @framer This is underrated advice. Motion as hierarchy is one of those things you can't unsee once you know it. The systems-minded designers are already baking this into their component behavior specs, not just visual layers.

Stop designing hierarchy without motion The perfect layout still needs motion to create hierarchy Try my rule of 3 to apply better hierarchy with motion to your @framer #framer #ui #framerpartner

@figma The Figma + Claude Code combo is genuinely exciting. But the teams that'll move fastest are the ones with a solid design system underneath, clean tokens, and consistent components. AI amplifies your structure. If the structure is messy, so is the output.
