@NoahGarfinkel This post screams “I’m a writer and I’m horrified that this technology is going to replace me so I’m going to say it’s useless”
English

We’re going to destroy the planet for a technology whose progress is measured by fake videos of The Fresh Prince eating spaghetti.

@NFL_DovKleiman You have some seriously deluded people on this post
English

@SethAbramson “As a self proclaimed expert” 🤓. No, you were writing about things you believed in (I.e. Bernie Sanders) but that didn’t work out so you hit the hot topic button. First it was several books on Trump in 2018 now…. Wait for it…. Elon Musk. Color everyone shocked….
English

@WSMcCready @PPais89 @FZaslavskiy @Picklejim @john_gnu @Tendar But again… the US didn’t flip a switch on the devices or render them useless. They just stopped providing recon intelligence. Ukraine can still very much use the devices in the same capacity, they just need to do the recon work themselves. Thats it, that’s the point
English

The underlying point is that it seems certain arms bought from the US can, and it seems now very well could be, rendered operationally ineffective for the purposes they were purchased for. If the Himars are useless WW1 era Artillery without US systems and then the US removes access to said systems, you've paid a lot of money for weaponry you can no longer effectively use. If the Germans are realising this could apply to them and US F-35s, they're wise to consider if that's a safe option moving forward.
English

There is increasing fear in Germany that F-35 jets purchased for the German army can be "turned off" remotely by Washington. This fear is shared by defense and security specialists.
Joachim Schranzhofer, head of communications at Hensoldt:
"The F-35 kill switch is not just a rumor. A simpler way is through a mission planning system that will not allow the fighter to land."
Wolfgang Ischinger, former diplomat and head of the Munich Security Conference:
"If we fear that the US could do the same to the German F-35 fighter jets as they did to Ukraine, we should consider canceling the contract."

@PPais89 @FZaslavskiy @Picklejim @john_gnu @Tendar I don’t think you are understanding him OR the article… the article clearly states “they can still fire the himars” the US is simply not providing them intel on where the Russians are located. They can do their own reconnaissance…..
English

@FZaslavskiy @Picklejim @john_gnu @Tendar You are not understanding the picture. USA is painting Europe as Enemy. Lots os himars on Ukraine were bought by European Countrys and after donated. That deactivation makes USA a liability.
You do not need to be smart to understand, that you control your allies weapons.
English

@micah_erfan Can’t make this up… Research from a DNC funded research firm for an initiative created by the Democratic Party literally last month to smear a Republican

@BastardBambi @Throwaw70539107 @USA_Polling Man, from every single reply it is clear that emotions lead the way for you guys…. I never once said it was good, nor did I say I voted for him. I simply stated a FACT, that it was misleading. No one refers to tariffs as a TAX on consumers so don’t lump it into one.
English

@ZFernandez13 @Throwaw70539107 @USA_Polling Okay sooo you'll pay less in direct taxes but spend more on everything else but Trump is still so great because when money isn't labeled "tax" it doesn't count?
English

@ItsMikulas @USA_Polling Hey Hugo, don’t forget to submit your tariff taxes by April 15th
English

@ZFernandez13 @USA_Polling Tariffs are a fucking tax on individuals, ignoramus.
English

@mybldyvlntne @USA_Polling I don’t have a favorite politician, I can use logic to navigate my way through life. It seems as if you can only use emotion. You actually spend your whole day living on the internet tweeting about politics. What a sad sad life
English

@mybldyvlntne @USA_Polling You fail to see the point I have clearly made. Thanks for the response though
English

@mybldyvlntne @USA_Polling Profile checks out… an obsession.
English

@ItsMikulas @USA_Polling Correct. But not on individuals as the diagram is stating. I’ve rehashed this about ten times.
English

@ZFernandez13 @travis_basinger @Throwaw70539107 @USA_Polling So they will with tariffs? wtf am I gonna go with an insignificant increase if I make between 40k-70k? That amount is nothing to me and adds to the debt
English

@Verthicca @Throwaw70539107 @USA_Polling You’ve failed to read any of my other tweets. Thanks for the response though 👍🏻
English

@ZFernandez13 @Throwaw70539107 @USA_Polling you understand that they are levied on the company, which will absolutely pass them along to the consumer.
its an indirect tax on the individual.
English

@Kaelicles @USA_Polling Yes, but you can’t create a diagram based solely on taxes and then use an absolute made up estimate on tariffs to lead people to believe their taxes are going to double without even mentioning tariffs were factored in
English

@ZFernandez13 @USA_Polling Tariffs are being used to pay for the tax cuts in this plan, so omitting them would also be misleading. Most people care about how much more they'll be paying, and tariffs mean they pay more.
