@Dee_Batch @foxygames_uk Xbox Studios is all it is now. Swallowing up a beast, then a bigger beast. One after the other at such a huge cost. Then became the thing they consumed. Huge content factory that had no choice but to invite all to the party to make that still work. Ex box - publisher without box.

Funny, the very reason I left Xbox was that they gave their Exclusives away. I was pissed and said it would kill Xbox consoles. I was right, sales are the worst they have ever been for Xbox, almost non-existent. I was blasted by former Co-hosts like Colt. Telling me Exclusives are antiquated. Xbox guys said I was stupid, did not understand the biz, that Xbox is more than exclusives. I was right. Exclusives matter. Now, Xbox fans say they want exclusives and that they matter. So how are you guys mad at me when I was right? How are these same people now singing a different tune?

@DestinLegarie Hell No ! Last thing I ever want on a home console is to glimpse any scintilla of MS Windows OS. At a PC workstation on the daily, to deal with that uncooperative unintuitive constantly updating forever frustrating garbage ever foisted upon mankind. A games console isn’t that !!

Just explaining why I think this headline is kind of ridiculous. Consoles are PCs with bespoke OS.

The PS6 reportedly won’t be a traditional console, but a Free-BSD based set-top box that will only emulate a console experience.

@foxygames_uk So odd that as Xbox fails in the console space, Destin concludes the entire console space is falling, when the direction of travel for PlayStation and Nintendo remains the opposite direction. And that there’s no point in exclusives…because Xbox made it pointless for themselves !
