@ScottJund DBD players weirdly play into the “Worst Communtiy” stereotype because it’s really not that bad. A few seconds of endgame chat where people talk shit and that’s about it. (Even then it’s entirely optional and only for PC players) Compared to other games…? It’s not even close.

The fundamental difference between DBD and other multiplayer games is the asymmetry. Because not everyone can empathize with the other side due to not engaging with it, entitlement is the result. In terms of toxicity, as someone that played Dota for 10 years: no. Not even close.
