I have something to confess. I can’t say who currently but I got assaulted last week and involved in a drunk car crash while I was the passenger. I’ve been trying to be cordial but this stuff is hard to just keep in.

@cremieuxrecueil The job economy is terrible, prices are high and crime is on the rise. We all would need to come together as civilized citizens and address those things which effects all of us negatively before we can have a high trust society.

I would like to live in a high-trust society.
The decline of trust is something worth caring about, and reversing it is something worth doing.
We should not have to live constantly wondering if we're being lied to or scammed. Trust should be possible again.

@cremieuxrecueil As Peter Turchin argued, trust and income inequality go hand in hand. Sure, disincentivizing fraud is a good start. But I think there should be a focus on reducing income inequality and we will see trust in institutions naturally rise
