We don’t have to imagine that sort of scenario, Platts has its assessments used by gouvernements in multiple other markets that follow the same methodology

Then platts is responsible for the russian wheat tax and maybe quota, based on brokers reports on bid/offer and then platts decision of the value, maybe without taking account of specific terms in the trade?
