Anthropic just introduced forked subagents in their latest update. Unlike regular subagents, forked subagents can inherit the same context as the main agent. This looks convenient for cases where richer context matters more. This is just what I needed!

@TTrimoreau The scary part about AI is that there's no scapegoat mechanism, you can't really point a finger or blame someone, like when an AI makes a decision the accountability is difused, feels dangerous to me. Sure you can blame the person that added the AI to the stack... but... soon...

@systemdesignone Don't think it's that black or white, it has its downsides and upsides. The internet is a vast source of knowledge and makes it easier to deepen your wisdom, although it can fry your brain if you doom scroll. Same with AI I reckon?

AI makes us less smart and more intellectually dependent. Am I the only one thinking this?

The biggest skill to have in future software dev will be taste. Not programming.

@unclebobmartin There is a point to having weird stuff in your context that makes the model converge on a different minima. Kinda like how human brains react to white noise, it makes the brain more creative. But usually yeah, lean is king.

@TTrimoreau More traffic if the conversion rate stays the same, I think it's mathematically more valuable. 10% conversion out of 100 is identical to 100% out of 10.
