500+ days in jail. Bail denied. Again. Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu, a spiritual leader and an ISKCON monk, continues to languish behind bars in Bangladesh while the world watches. When even his lawyers are intimidated, threatened and silenced in court corridors, what justice are we even talking about? Is advocating for the rights of the Minority Hindu community a crime? When a saffron-clad soul is treated like a criminal for raising his voice, the world CANNOT remain silent. I appeal to the Government of Bangladesh to give medical aid and, more importantly, access to fair justice to Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu immediately. May he be granted bail at the earliest. And to all the pseudo-secularists and Selective Human rights Activists around the World who flood timelines overnight, wave watermelons and trend hashtags on cue, your silence can be still heard. Apparently, your humanity has a filter. @bdhc_delhi @UNHumanRights @UN_HRC @UN #FreeChinmoyKrishnaDas

Let’s all unite together in condemning the detention of ISKON Bangladesh Priest ‘ Chinmoy Krishna Das’ by Bangladesh police. We urge and plead Bangladesh Govt under Sri Mohammed Yunus to stop atrocities on Hindus. Indian army blood has been spilled , our resources had been spent , our Army Jawans lives had lost for Bangladesh formation. We are deeply disturbed the way our Hindu brothers and sisters are being targeted. We plead @UN @UNinIndia to intervene.

Three years after her husband Hari Dhurve was killed in the 2022 communal violence in Raisen, Phoolabai Gond was left alone with two children and no secure means of survival The case faded from headlines Court trial was going on but her struggles were only growing In 2025, @swati_gs met her at her house, assessed her condition, and asked what would help her rebuild her life with dignity Phoolabai asked for a small grocery shop Today, in a remote all-tribal village of Madhya Pradesh, that grocery shop - fully funded by @sewanyaya - stands as a monument to resilience and to the kind of journalism that does not end with reporting tragedy, but stays back to rebuild lives.

As many as eight Hindu majority States have had at least one non-Hindu Chief minister, but not a single non-Hindu majority State has ever had a Hindu Chief minister. India is safe, secure, prosperous, plural, and empowering for non-Hindus only because India is majority Hindu.

At one point NYC had ~600,000 manhole covers from foundries in Howrah near Kolkata. People forget Howrah was once called the Sheffield of India. In the 50s it had ~90 foundries and 100s of engineering units packed into an emerging industrial belt. West Bengal accounted for ~75% of India’s metal casting output and supplied a meaningful share of global demand in the 40s/50s when most of Asia barely had an industrial base outside Japan. India had the industrial base early. Then came decades of permit raj economics, labor paralysis, socialism, anti-industry politics and infrastructure decay. Today China produces *half* of global casting output with ~20k foundries producing ~50+ million tons While Indian cities like Kolkata and Kanpur which had a serious head start are now nowhere near the scale of Chinese industrial cities that were far behind them just a few decades ago. That difference compounds across everything: - steel - shipbuilding - electronics - EVs - solar - machine tools - chemicals One country scaled factories. The other debated them. Howrah could have looked more like Shenzhen or Hebei or Liaoning today: Advanced Industrial clusters, ports, steel, heavy engineering, electronics and supply chains feeding the world.

Appealing for Work From Home (WFH) won’t change anything. If the govt genuinely wants it, it can strongly push or effectively enforce WFH in sectors where physical presence isn’t essential. It’s common in the West but not in India because Indian companies still operate on a “presence equals productivity” mindset, where managers feel employees work seriously only when they are physically visible. If an employee isn’t exhausted by traffic, long hours, and physical attendance, they assume no real work is being done. There’s also a deeply ingrained feudal mindset where control, surveillance, and making juniors “feel the grind” is treated as management instead of actual productivity. Otherwise, WFH can solve many problems for both individuals and the country. It reduces traffic, pollution, fuel consumption, stress, travel time, road accidents, and daily expenses for individuals while improving work-life balance. For India, it cuts crude oil consumption and import bills, reduces pressure on dollars, inflation, and urban infrastructure, while easing overcrowding in metro cities and saving huge amounts of productive time otherwise wasted in commuting.

SP MP Ajendra Singh Lodhi from Hamirpur–Mahoba used the word “harami” for the PM. Political opposition is one thing, but such disgraceful language is against basic decorum and the dignity expected in public life. Akhilesh Yadav should be questioned over this statement and asked to issue an apology. Say what you will about PM Modi politically, but here is a leader who speaks directly to the people, gives uncomfortable advice when needed, and puts the nation’s interest above his own popularity. That is not something you respond to with gutter language. If such remarks continue to be defended or ignored, it will only strengthen the popular perception that the SP is no longer a political party, but a platform that rewards hooliganism and political thuggery.

I started here in Delhi. Told my first joke at assembly in DPS noida. First public show at India Habitat Centre on Lodi Road. First corporate at a bank branch in Gurgaon. Maybe 70% of the crowd yesterday were newcomers to my art and that’s a massive privilege. But in that crowd were people who have shown up for 17 years. I see you. I thank you. We’ve grown up together. Thanks Delhi for showing up for me ♥️
