I am making plans to liquidate all my Canadian assets. I will live in Florida for 6 months, and for the other 6 months I will spend as little time in Canada as possible and hope that Panama will accept my application to remain for the other 6 months. If Alberta gains Independence in October, I will be happy to live in Alberta for 8 months of the year.

Sorry to all of you US haters. Americans are not flocking into Canada at the rates we think. As a matter of fact, more Canadians are going to the US. And, stay calm, it’s not racist, it’s about Canadian high levels of taxes and regulation. nationalpost.com/news/canada/da…

TDS and MAGA have killed right wing politics in Canada. The leftists have used people’s feelings for Donald Trump and what’s happening in America, to move people further left, through fear tactics and Trump-a-phobia. It started during the last Canadian election, where it seems like the Liberal campaign strategy was to draw similarities between Polievre and Trump, leveraging the TDS of Canadians to turn them against the Conservatives. Then the term “Maple MAGA” was introduced - again, by the Liberals - as a way of scaring people away from voting Conservative. The Liberals were aware of how divisive Trump was, and leveraged his comments about the 51st State as a way of turning people to the left. Every single thing Trump said or did, they were able to convince Canadians that Poilievre was on board with. Every single thing Canadians disliked about Trump, the Liberals were able to convince Canadians that Poilievre was the same. Canadians didn’t elect Carney because they were voting for Carney. He was elected because Canadians were voting against Trump. Or against the guy that the Liberals convinced them was Trump. And now Canada is stuck with a PM who’s far, far worse than what they believed Poilievre was. And they’re still so filled with hate and TDS that they’d vote for him again tomorrow.

The Conservative government under Brian Mulroney sold of 9 publicly owned Companies including Petro Canada and Air Canada 🇨🇦. This left the monopoly totally in the hands of the private sector. Much of this was done by stealth. Cons simply don't think ahead..

@alleria_eh Exactly. They left the CPC because the party does not represent their values and beliefs. So, if they do not share those values then they misrepresent themselves to get elected. Which is an inherently leftist thing to do.

Maybe conservatives should be questioning why conservative MPs would choose to cross the floor instead of screaming and blaming mark carney. You don't leave a party that represents your values and beliefs just because someone bribes you. You leave because it doesn't represent who you are any more and the leader is a terrible one. Poilievre has been rumored to treat all the MPs unfairly and demand they constantly prove their worth. Sounds like a miserable person to deal with. Look at the Captain if the crew members are abandoning the ship.

Why does the government have to drop their taxes off gas? Why can the oil companies just drop their prices? Taxes buy Canadians things but oil company billion dollar profits doesn't do anything for us.

Seems like most people against high speed rail in Canada assume that everyone will ride it for free. And they also appear to assume that there will be no economic or environmental spinoff. We never hear them complain about building more highways or bridges.

The grandniece of slain Iranian terror mastermind Gen. Qasem Soleimani lived a lavish life in the USA whilst her mother promoted the Iranian Regime. Sarinasadat Hosseiny, 25, and her mother, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar, were arrested after the State Department terminated their permanent resident status and had their green cards revoked due to her ties the terrorist Iranian regime.

I wish I was a bigger account. I wish my voice was louder, and could reach and "influence" more people. It isn't, and I don't. Yet I keep posting, because it's the one thing (besides voting) that I can do to try to preserve the country I love for my children and grandchildren.

Copied from Facebook Danielle Smith said this to Alberta NDP leader Naheed Nenshi, when he tried to question her government’s new bill that would remove ideology, politics and ideology flags from schools, and we couldn’t agree with her more: “We saw exactly what we do not want in our schools at the NDP convention last weekend. People showing their equity cards so they can determine what intersectional definitions they have to be able to bump the line so they can bump somebody else and miss naming on pronouns. That has been obsessing the schools for the last ten years. Parents want to get back to the basics. They want their kids to read, be able to do Math, coding and be able to do critical thinking. Not critical theory,” Wow!! This woman says it exactly like it’s. She says what we’re all thinking. We need more leaders like Danielle Smith. 💙🔥

The Alberta separatist movement isn’t some unstoppable wave, it’s a loud minority that can’t even hit its own targets. You needed around 350k signatures to show real momentum and you came up with 177k. That’s not a movement, that’s barely a warm up. And even if you somehow crossed that threshold, it doesn’t mean Alberta just walks out of Canada. That’s not how this works. You’re talking about years of legal battles, constitutional hurdles, negotiations with the federal government, Indigenous treaty obligations, economic fallout, currency issues, trade barriers, and massive uncertainty for businesses and workers. Not 90 days, regardless of what Keith says. There’s no clean break. No easy exit. No “just vote and we’re gone.” Meanwhile, the idea that Alberta would somehow be stronger alone ignores reality. The province benefits massively from being part of Canada through internal trade, transfer systems, shared infrastructure, and global credibility. Walking away doesn’t make those problems disappear, it multiplies them. So no, Alberta isn’t leaving Canada. Not now, not anytime soon. And a half completed petition isn’t proof of anything except how small the movement actually is. And to all Albertans that don’t want any part of this, the rest of Canada knows, and we don’t group you all in the same basket! We still love you.
