@biangslev

Service meets DevOps through pain and a lot of stubbornness. Lifelong learner. Continual improvement kata fangirl. Consultant by day, gamer by night. She/her.

On my way to #devopsdayscph - finally the day is here! This time as a speaker 😱 - thankfully I'm co-hosting with the brilliant Paul Freeman from #arla - there will be DevOpsy operating models and bovine puns aplenty. 😁

@neilhimself I'm reading Foucault's Pendulum right now, just having finished Norse Mythology, and wondering if Neil Gaiman wouldn't be the right person to make the Knights Templars' history come alive?

@neil_killick DevOps 7-10 years... It's probably a very select crowd who can match this, even if we replace SAFe with generic agile. "Required", not preferred. I want to meet this person.

@BattlefieldGI Despite the cheaters in BFV, that's still the superior game imho. 2042 feels dated, like a BF4 cartoony remake with lipstick. The lack of map, ugly repawn screen, teeny tiny soldiers, heavy running, tanks and helicopters dominating, lack of scoreboard, bugged access...bruh.

@patrickdebois I wish security and the financial side had better automation support. Where I operate, these two fields are still very much down to local heroism and endless stubbornness.

Today I wondered: What is left to automate in Ops?

@JonStevensHall @ITRevBooks ITIL may have evolved but the entrenched thinking/structures with how to deliver higher levels of support in the enterprise have not. Example: with digital tooling, DevOps and high velocity delivery the concept of centralizing support works against delivering better outcomes.

@BattlefieldGI First, launch a core game to properly impress the current player base, and win back the people who left. Second, EA has a strong product management tradition. Invent the next thing. You know how.

@saeedwkhan What metrics they use to gauge product health, and where they source the data. What their preferred method of customer feedback is and cadence of feedback. Ask about their best MVP, explaining choices about fidelity and resolution for that particular one and tools chosen. 😏

What is one *indirect* question you can ask someone, that when answered, you'll know they are an EXPERIENCED Product Manager. i.e. you can't ask them directly if they are one, what their job title is etc. #product #prodmgmt
