A man raised a grey rabbit who had never known another of its kind and was very lonely, its little heart heavy. One day, the owner rescued a shy white rabbit and brought it home. From that moment on, the grey rabbit lit up, gently hugging and caring for its new friend

I just found out Korea doesn't let sex offenders ride the same public transportation as everyone else. They have special buses. Why can't we have nice things like that here?

Unsurprisingly, Harry and Meghan's quasi-royal Australian tour is turning out to be as stomach-churningly controversial as everyone expected it to be. Not only have they coralled some 70 sick children, parents and carers in an atrium for a photo op despite the threat of infection to youngsters with the suppressed immune systems that are an inevitable part of cancer treatment, but she has posted her wardrobe online for her admirers, with the purpose of obtaining a kickback for her when they buy what she's been wearing. Harry baldly asserts that they're a part of the Royal Family so hint hint it's a proper royal tour, despite the clear breaches of the Lord Chamberlain's regulations governing the Royal Family and commercial activities. The Australian public are up in arms. A petition has garnered tens of thousands of signatures protesting at the way the visit is being handled by the authorities. Meanwhile Harry and Meghan trip (trip being the operative word) with rictuslike determination on their avaricious way as they try to rustle up sufficient commercial interest via column inches to keep their tacky, grifting show on the road. It's really time for the Lord Chamberlain's regulations to have the force of law. Until they do, Harry and Meghan will continue to make mugs of the institution they claim to revile while doing their utmost to remind everyone they're a part of, while showing us in ever clearer terms what mugs they really are. Yet the irony remains that amidst the repellence there is an element of genuine entertainment that is also allied to how instructive it is when ruthless advocates of the merits of drug usage perform upon the platforms which are displays for their wares.

@babybeginner True. But the police wont get sued for guns ablazing. You see them on other videos calling for a gun\knifeman to drop the weapon multiple times. You know crazy when you see it. They wont drop the weapon. But it shows legally that they tried. It's called covering your arse.

Would you rather see: A. terrific posts from random people? Or B. random posts from terrific people? I’m trying to get an idea how people want to interact on X. For me, it’s B. I care more about interpersonal relationships even with people I don’t know that well.

@Batmanwinskedo1 @kunley_drukpa The city cousins are useful to the government. Victoria has a group now "looking" at each law passed to see how it affects them. I suspect the government pays money to this group and now has a stranglehold on legislation.

Ok, the educated prefer the term 'indigenous' to describe the aborigines. Whilst most are quite nice, as a race they do not do well with alcohol, and the drunkeness always leads to violence. Poverty, mainly due to few getting a decent education, and there is little actual work or industry outside of those lucky enough to be near mining, which means Govt benefits fund the worst of western foods, so obesity and diabetes takes its toll. Australia spends tens of billions per year to achieve this result, with much of the money being spent on maintaining the population in vast regions that really are uninhabitable, but they and everyone else has been sold on this 'connection' to land, so they live disconnected from the rest of the country. Poor schools(which often have single digit attendance rates), nominal health centres, expensive access to fresh food, veggies, milk etc But that covers 'most' of the money, the rest is spent on the city 'indigenous' who are often 'white' in appearance, but hey 4 generations back there is one ancestor, so that's enough for them to jump on the ingenious gravy train, and suck down as much taxpayer benefits as they can. The city indigenous get priority access to schools, Uni, hospitals, but the one thing you can guarantee they will never do is go 'bush' and help the real indigenous. So whilst we can easily critique the rural indigenous, the real scorn should be saved for city cousins who take what they can and do SFA for those who still live in the traditional areas.

BUYING ALCOHOL FOR ABORIGINALS 🇦🇺 Aboriginals really striking in appearance in person when you meet them for the first time. Very distinctive physiognomies, don’t want to call their look archaic but that is closest descriptor I can think of One thing about having these kinds of facial features is that they make the people look much older than they actually are. Was in Alice Springs in Australia, this is ‘major’ outback town in the Northern Territory. They have a lot of ‘abbos’ milling around in groups here, you walk around and they’re all sprawled out on the grass together. Lots of them aren’t really employed and many get some kind of government grant. Very hard not to stare because if you’ve never seen full-blooded aboriginals in real life before (like I hadn’t up until that point) like I say they’re quite distinctive looking Walking around the town, there’s a group of abbos milling in a park. One of the women comes up to me: [In a very strong bogan Australian accent while repeatedly scratching her face] “Ah yeah hey mate how’s it going mate you alright mate hey I couldn’t trouble you for sam help could I?” Was one of first times and I had spoken to an aboriginal before “What do you need?” “Ah yeah mate well see it’s my birthday mate yah know and ah I was just wondering if you could go in the bottle-o for me and grab us a few stubbies yah know” [scratches face again] Because of her very distinctive facial features was finding it difficult to focus on what she was saying, was looking directly into her eyes, couldn’t really take much in… “Why can’t you go in and buy some drinks for yourself?” “Ah yeah naw well we’re not allowed yah see they don’t let us buy alcohol yah see because they think we’re a right load of miscreants ah yeah but you look like a nice bloke could ya go and do it for me?” “They don’t let you buy alcohol” “Yeah they reckon we’ll start causing all kinds of trouble. Nah it’s not right” [scratches her face again] “If you’re not allowed I don’t want to get in trouble myself buying it for you” “Ah come on mate come on please it’s my birthday ah I just want one little drinkie on my birthday mate” “I don’t know…” “Ah come on mate go on come on mate” [jittering] “I’m not sure” “Mate we’re just chilling out a bit at the park on my birthday just want to unwind it’s no harm mate come on help us out mate” [scratches her face again] “It’s really your birthday?” “Yeahhh” “How old are you? You must be 40 or so right?” Thing is here in my head I thought I was really lowballing it - as I say the facial features they have make them look really old. Genuinely could not tell, had no mental model for it. Thought in reality though she must have been anywhere up to about 60. The weathered skin, the nasolabial folds, the brow ridge… “I’m 18 mate” she replies

The insane asylums of the 1800s were not actual insane asylums. Why were they so massive? A few were the largest buildings on earth at the time upon their completion. Why were there so many of them? They were built to lock up those that knew our actual past until death so that history could be rewritten.
