@JT_2022 @buffoons_p0d That was back when Luka had defenders around him and lob threats on Dallas. He was able to hide on defense. You can't hide him with Reaves as his running mate.

This is honestly a horrendous deal for the Lakers if we really think about it. As good as Reaves is, he doesn't play defense. Takes waaay too long to make the right read, not exactly great at handling pressure especially in the playoffs

Jack White and Olivia Jean are splitting.
TMZ reports Jean filed for divorce on June 3 in Tennessee, citing "inappropriate marital conduct" in the petition. The filing does not elaborate. TMZ also reports Jean requested spousal support and asked to remain on White's life insurance policy. The couple married in December 2022. It is White's third marriage.

@buffoons_p0d @OfficialDomNBA no it's not. OKC/sga have never beat luka in the playoffs. He eliminated them when they were the #1 seed, and he would have done it again. Lakers were rolling and looked like the best team in the league before Luka got hurt. Luka is OKC kryptonite.

@izzy4thelaykuhs You nailed it on the second part of your first sentence there. Teams will expose you come April, for the time he’s even available that is. If Lakers got legit defense at the 3-5 spots, I’d be much more comfortable if I’m a Lakers fan paying Luka and Reaves half the cap.

@buffoons_p0d Efficient, playmakes, rebounds, crafty, consistent for the most part aside from playoffs. His defense isn’t nearly as bad as people say but that’s his only downside other than being bothered by physical defenders. He’s shown he’s clutch too, which over half the league isn’t

The Utah Jazz are entering a place where you almost have too much young talent on a roster where it’s difficult to ensure they all development equally simultaneously. Obviously a good problem to have but it is difficult to navigate and may eventually lead to some tough front office decisions in the years ahead.
