@nicksjj I would have expected the document to lay out the pros and cons of each option, with summary financials, and then to explain why they were recommending one of them. The way they have done it is not fit for purpose.

The documentation is heavy on the pros of this option and does not mention the possible cons. Indeed, it barely mentions the other 3 options which were allegedly considered. That makes me think that the consultation has been done with the specific 'solution' already decided.

I said that I would do a thread on WRU governance etc, once I had had a better look at the documentation which has been circulating ... First things first - the overriding purpose of a sporting governing body is to protect and to promote that specific sport. Above all else.
