1/ CLOUD-6 is now live for voting.

My personal thoughts on CLOUD-6: 1) I have seen this on the timeline parroting falsely - to be 100% clear this is not an agreed upon deal, where the team has agreed on a deal, and is pushing it upon the community. This is a proposal from @DeFianceCapital to the community, to purchase tokens from the Community Reserve via the market based voting mechanism. The community and the market will decide on whether to sell the tokens to add USDC to the Community Reserve, or to reject the proposal. Everyone has a choice to vote against the proposal, just like WonderApp was rejected. Or you can vote for it if you think it is bullish for $CLOUD. 2) Why is the discount so high? The price actually moved from when the proposal was finalised to when we finally got the proposal up. However, as mentioned above, this is not a agreed upon deal. If the discount is too big and is not good, the community can vote it down, and another proposal can be put up. 3) Why did it take so much time for the proposal and vote to come out? It requires plenty of behind the scenes legal and red tape-work to be done before the proposal can even be put to a vote. 4) Defiance have been investors since the very beginning, they are stalwarts and industry leaders - @arthur0x, @eugenegeu have been nothing but helpful from my perspective. We want to win - and they strengthen us in the areas we are weak. We are deeply grateful in the show of trust that they want to build a bigger position and increase alignment with the protocol. 5) That being said, the proposal is the proposal, it must be set apart and analysed on its merits. I recommend every member to think carefully through the proposal and to ask questions, discuss and determine for yourself whether this is beneficial to @sanctumso and @cloud $CLOUD. The Discord is deep awash in discussion. 6) Sanctum is in the growing pains of governance, and as our protocol continues to grow rapidly in terms of the business - we can expect more of such similar kind of proposals. I see it as Sanctum maturing as we move to the true iteration of what Sanctum should become. 7) A quiet note: I will be personally abstaining from this vote - I will also neither advocate for, nor advocate against this proposal. I am excited to see what one of Sanctum's biggest votes will turn out to be.
