@SpaceX @cursor_ai Going from a VS Code fork to a $60B acquisition option in just 3 years is absolutely insane. Software engineers are going to eat well in the coming years. I just wish these companies would solve the token/cost issues soon the burn rate is way too high right now

SpaceXAI and @cursor_ai are now working closely together to create the world’s best coding and knowledge work AI. The combination of Cursor’s leading product and distribution to expert software engineers with SpaceX’s million H100 equivalent Colossus training supercomputer will allow us to build the world’s most useful models. Cursor has also given SpaceX the right to acquire Cursor later this year for $60 billion or pay $10 billion for our work together.

Code that works sequentially is not automatically safe concurrently. Here’s how shared state breaks your Swift code and how actors fix it. 🧵👇 youtu.be/Eiu53Kr6Ejs

In the AI era, everyone writes async/await. Very few understand system behavior. This video accidentally became a lesson on system correctness and the silent blunders that happen when critical thinking is ignored. youtu.be/IS_ZNXKFj4I?si…

@aakashgupta Nobody actually designs user flows anymore. They just paste stories into AI, test, and ship. I’m fascinated by the speed AI provides, but we're losing the art of critical thinking. Software engineering isn't just shipping code reasoning and AI must go hand in hand.

Most engineers using Claude Code are shipping faster while learning slower. You get the working code. You merge the PR. You move to the next ticket. But the reasoning that made it work? Gone. The bugs you avoided because Claude caught them? Never internalized. The architectural pattern Claude chose? You couldn’t explain it in an interview. This CLAUDE.md hack flips the dynamic. You’re forcing the AI to teach you what it just did. Technical architecture. The “why” behind technology choices. The bugs and how they got fixed. It’s documentation that compounds. Six months from now, you have a personal engineering wiki written by an expert tutor who watched you build everything. The engineers who figure this out will learn 3x faster than their peers running the same tools. Same AI access. Completely different trajectory.
Zara Zhang@zarazhangrui

Add this paragraph to the CLAUDE.md file to turn Claude Code into Claude Teacher. Every project is a lesson to become more technical. "For every project, write a detailed FOR[yourname].md file that explains the whole project in plain language. Explain the technical architecture, the structure of the codebase and how the various parts are connected, the technologies used, why we made these technical decisions, and lessons I can learn from it (this should include the bugs we ran into and how we fixed them, potential pitfalls and how to avoid them in the future, new technologies used, how good engineers think and work, best practices, etc). It should be very engaging to read; don't make it sound like boring technical documentation/textbook. Where appropriate, use analogies and anecdotes to make it more understandable and memorable."

Managers don't need 'culture training,' they need a bill. You only work 12 hours because the extra 4 are free. If Indian IT had to pay for every hour after 6 PM, your 'toxic' lead would become a time-management expert overnight."

My biggest fear is that in the age of AI devs will skip the learning process completely and will be unaware about what good software engineering is. Not saying AI is bad, but devs will not see value in learning. At that point should we call them dev or an average AI user?

Construction sites and garbage trucks need to be properly covered no doubt about that. But let’s be honest, air pollution won’t truly improve until we plant, grow, and protect more trees. Everything else is just a temporary fix.
Milind Deora | मिलिंद देवरा@milinddeora

Mumbai’s air-pollution crisis is no longer a seasonal issue — it is a public-health emergency. India needs a nationwide war & a national consensus against air pollution. #Mumbai is gasping for clean air. As a Mumbaikar & a public representative, I believe we deserve better. It is my duty as your MP to stand with you on this growing concern. I have written to the @mybmc Commissioner urging immediate & extraordinary action, including a temporary halt on all digging & construction work until air quality improves. Let’s come together & build a public-awareness movement for clean air. @narendramodi @Dev_Fadnavis @mieknathshinde @JPNadda @byadavbjp

I deleted all the auto-added English dub audio on YouTube, a feature that no one requested. I prefer my own voice over a machine-generated, mechanical voice that lacks a human touch.

Just wondering why @Google does not or cannot or won’t or don’t care about putting a doodle on Men’s day? It ain’t that hard, prompt your boy Gemini to do it maybe it’s a pretty good AI tool you should try using it.

@IndianTechGuide Why not 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM? Plan things better than stress burning employees. This gives better work life balance, allow folks to work from home than jamming traffic with those corporate buses. The amount of time a dev spends to reach office is also horrendous. Plan better 🙏

How to spot if the code is written by AI vs a developer? If the code is well documented, explains why something was done the way it was done it’s written by AI, there’s no way a dev would take the effort and explain every line via comment.

@shivi1026 Clean code is the way to go everything else is a short term hack for a long term tech debt, sufferings and late night debugging sessions and a lot of tears and cursing the dev who wrote that ugly ball of mud.
